I'm positive Godzilla fans around the net are becoming extremely excited at the news of another Giant Monster fighting game making its way to their shores. With the game being developed by Simon Strange and his own crafted team, its understandable as to why fans are losing their minds. With Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, Godzilla: Save the Earth, and Godzilla Unleashed under Simon Strange's belt, he's more than eligible in delivering a enjoyable monster fighter. And with Sunstone Games, LLC are in works on obtaining the Godzilla, Gamera, and Ultraman licenses for future releases within their game. It just gives fans all the more reason to foam at the mouth in pure excitement.

"An online fighting game for 1-4 giant monsters (Kaiju). Mix & Match classics like Godzilla, Gamera, etc. with fan originals!"

Kaiju Combat is a 3D online multiplayer monster fighter, with powerful destructive monsters, intense four player battlers, online matchmaking, tournaments, and creative movesets that will make every monster unique from one another. Sunstone Games have recently launched a kickstarters to properly raise the funds for their project. And thus far, things are at a fairly impressive start.

This should be front pg!

I'm excited about the game but we've already had enough Godzilla fighters...we need a story driven open world free roaming monster game that has boss fights like a fighter game

Well there's really one five legit Godzilla fighters, three of them are on the modern consoles, while the other two are on Turbo Duo and the Super Nintendo.

Kaiju Combat is a pretty awesome looking game, and I hope that its successfully funded. It has a lot of promising potential.

Hey Greengo so is EVERY shooter ever made out there and pretty much most any game in general is loosely a clone of another game. This game has the chance to improve on the genre and bring us to a new game development level in the timeline of kaiju fighting games. War of the Monsters was good but its not the only game ever made or that ever will be made. War of the monsters also did not have the option to be a constantly growing product where ESTABLISHES licenses can finally co-mingle such as Godzilla,Gamera,Ultraman, and even your beloved War Of The Monsters....so there is really NO REASON to not promote this and help get this game made.I say we do our parts and help advance a genre as opposed to letting it rot by never releasing another kaiju game since "there has already been a monster on monster fighting game...". Without progress game genres WILL die and if we keep letting genre's die sooner or later we will have nothing left.

I'm EXTREMELY excited about this. This needs to happen. I want to pledge the $500, but times are hard. Still... I'm thinking of a way to make it happen.

You can still submit a original monster whenever your ready, it'll be implemented within future releases. Until then you can simply go for a pledge that's within your reasonable price range and help aid this great project.

Can honestly say I never knew they made a Godzilla game aside from the Matthew Brodrick Gameboy Color cash grab.

@Dionysios I believe the game you are talking about is War of The Monsters. In case you don't know, the characters of that game can show up again in a Kaiju Combat release as many other characters like Cthulhu, Gamera,Ultraman, etc.
