Ahead of E3 next week, we have received a brand new trailer for Overkill's The Walking Dead, an upcoming co-op action first-person shooter where you and three others team up to fight off the dead as well as the living.

The new trailer introduces us to the fourth and final playable character, Heather, and is yet another CGI trailer. However, it might be the best one we've seen yet.

Interestingly, this is the first of the four trailers released thus far that show actual conflict with other living survivors. It's unclear how Heather knows these people, but I'm sure whatever group or faction they are part of will show up in the game. This is also the first trailer where a character's skillset isn't strongly hinted at - unless you consider her wit to be an asset.

With this trailer, we have now been introduced to each of the four playable characters in Overkill's The Walking Dead. As detailed by the developer, each of them has unique play styles, special abilities, skill trees and squad roles. Aiden, seen wielding a bat, is presumed to be a melee character. Maya, a former surgeon, is believed to be the healer/medic. And Grant, seen holding a sniper rifle, is expected to be the long-range specialist. Heather's role is still unclear.

Overkill's The Walking Dead is slated to release later this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A gameplay trailer for the game is expected to be shown at E3 next week.
