Have you ever wanted to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Well, you'll soon be able to!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's Portkey Games label has announced a brand new game based on the iconic Harry Potter franchise called Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. As the title suggests, players will be able to experience life as a student as the fantastical school.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is being developed by Jam City as a "story-driven mobile narrative role-playing game." It's the first mobile game in which players will be able to create their own character and experience life as a Hogwarts student.

Details are vague, but a brief description on the Pottermore teases: "Once you’ve settled into the school, your character can move through the years while doing all the same things Hogwarts students do: taking part in Duelling Club, for example, or going to classes such as Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts. There’ll be faces you recognise, too, with many subjects taught by Professors you may already know and love (or know and dislike, depending on who they are…)."

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is set to release "at some point next year." It will be the second Harry Potter-themed mobile game to release in the year, alongside Niantic's Pokemon Go-inspired mobile game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
