@RolandD - it being on the list at all when they mention in the entry it's not a romantic movie at all is enough of a point for me.

@soupysales - I remember having watched that movie, but only like three quarter of a movie. It ended quite abruptly.

The jumping around was cool though.

@bkmeijer1 - i just looked it up, and it came from a series of books...am assuming the studio was hoping to make enough money to start a series...and really, with diane lane and samuel L, it could have been really cool...it looks like there was some deviation in the middle and end of the movie from the book...interesting the book didn't have paladins, and the main characters mother wasn't one of them...may have to read them and see...and i totally loved the way the jump effect was shown...not to mention jamie bell cracked me up...usually like him

@soupysales - the jumping effect is something that's hard to do ib a book, as I think it's such a cool concept because it works so well visually.

Jamie Bell was pretty good. Think he and Hayden had pretty good chemistry in that movie.

The Crow if you want to get laid after the movie

@DudeGuy - the Crow would have made the cut if it was any movie based on a comic book, but I decided to keep it to superheroes just to narrow it down.

I was whistling "It's been a long, long time" the whole day. And finally when I thought it wasn't stuck in my head anymore, this article reminds me of it again. What a coincidence.

Mary Jane choosing Peter at the end of Spider-Man 2 is a classic ending for me. It showed us that life sometimes can reward you after you have made the decision to be steady and be willing to give up the things you desire the most.

But Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor's love story in the 2017 film hit harder for me, even more than the one in The First Avenger and this isn't necessarily a shade against their story. I guess that in the end I felt that Diana and Steve's characters went through the same growth to the point both of their pros and cons were fleshed out as they also grew closer until that tragic ending.

Which brings me to the fact that DC has actually put out across the years through it's TV division many love stories with unforgettable moments because they had enough time to develop them without them feeling forced to happen too soon. These cover from marriage proposals (and vows renewals, tear-jerkers goodbyes, love confessions, first kisses and reunions.
