Who could have guessed that Wonder Woman 1984 would turn out to be (arguably) the most controversial movie of what's been an undeniably crazy 2020?
Thanks to Warner Bros.' decision to have the DC Comics adaptation debut on Christmas Day in theaters and on HBO Max at the same time, a conversation has started which could forever change the film industry. After all, the studio has already shifted its entire 2021 slate to the streaming service.
How that will work out for Wonder Woman 1984 remains to be seen, but as fans, we're obviously still excited to see this member of the Justice League back on a screen of any size!
Now, thanks to IGN, we have some cool new character posters for the Patty Jenkins-directed sequel. As you can see below, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal), and Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) are all spotlighted (no great surprise when they're the film's leads).
Once again, some vibrant visuals are used to promote the DC Comics movie, and any one of them would look great on your wall. Dr. Barbara Minerva's transformation is teased in a big way here, though it is a shame we don't get to see her as the villainous Cheetah!
