WONDER WOMAN 1984 Iron Studios Statue Reveals Our Best Look Yet At Kristen Wiig's Cheetah

Following that big Cheetah reveal in Saturday's trailer for Wonder Woman 1984, Iron Studios has finally shared their take on Kristen Wiig's villain, and it's fair to say she looks pretty damn ferocious...

During Saturday's DC FanDome panel for Wonder Woman 1984, a new trailer for Patty Jenkins' DC Comics sequel was finally revealed, and it showcased Cheetah in all her ferocious glory.

The response to that reveal has been mostly positive, and it seems the wait to see the villain was well worth it (the toys and leaked promo art, unsurprisingly, didn't really do her justice). Now, Iron Studios has followed that by sharing their awesome Cheetah statue based on the character's likeness.

"With her sharp claws, the ferocious feline villain leaps with her superhuman speed to attack her powerful Amazon rival," the translated description of the statue reads. "Barbara is an antiques expert delighted to meet Wonder Woman, which in a mystical way is possessed by the powers of the Goddess of the Hunt, transforming itself into Cheetah, a female humanoid creature with the characteristics of the fastest cat on Earth, with super strength and agile reflexes."

Set to go on sale next March, the statue will retail for $129.99, and is undeniably badass.

Cheetah's big screen look does pay homage to the comic books, though there's still a lot of discussion as to whether Kristen Wiig was the best choice to play her. Based on what we've seen in the trailers, though, she's definitely going to end up doing this Wonder Woman villain justice in the sequel.

See, there was nothing to worry about, not Cats

Looks pretty damn weird. Let's see how she looks in the movie. Just hope it's not Cats all over again.

Why Kristen Wigg though? I mean, I like her as an actress but what about her made them cast her for Cheetah is what's most curious to me.

@SnideCut - She's far from unattractive, but they probably wanted someone who was average looking and can pull off awkward. I can see her being highly envious of Diana. Especially after hearing what she says in the trailer.

I refuse to say a bad word about Kristen Wiig, and even if this movie is terrible, I still won't.

Fur is hard to make look right on a statue

Much more concerning to me than this design is the fact that Jenkins still doesn't seemed to have figured out how to do heavily CG fight scenes. Those bits they showed at the end of the trailer were rough in the exact same way much of the first one's 3rd act were

@OmegaDaGrodd - Not good, indeed.

I kinda like the look, although I think the fur is a bit too light coloured? Something darker and bolder would have looked better I think.

This isn’t a winning look. The statue’s pretty accurate to the film, but I don’t think many would have hoped for this in the end. Not surprised that they hid her in darkness in the trailer.

Lol, seriously, she looks much better than what I was expecting. Not bad, could be worse

"Naked" human face in otherwise hairy cat/human body looks kinda weird. Can't quite put my finger on why, but I think it would look better, if the shape of the head was more cat-like and/or there was fur everywhere.

I get that Patty loves the original show but I really don’t like anything about this movie other than the use of the Kingdom Come armor. I’m going to give it a shot but so far it feels like they’ve made all the wrong moves. They should have just adapted Brian Azzarellos awesome run rooted in modern takes of Greek mythology
