LOGAN Director Confirms Deleted Blu-Ray Scenes; Says He Doesn't Want Anyone To Replace Jackman In The Role
Director James Mangold confirms that there will be some "lovely" scenes on the Blu-ray that didn't make the theatrical cut. Plus, he comments on another actor taking over from Hugh Jackman as Logan...
Logan hasn't even hit theaters yet so it's probably a little early to be talking about the film's home release, but, director James Mangold was still happy to discuses the excised sequences that might eventually find their way to the Blu-ray.
Mangold told Bad Taste that he got everything into the movie that he wanted to, but that some stuff did wind up being cut for pacing issues, and that fans can look forward to seeing those "lovely" moments someday when the film makes its Blu-ray/DVD debut.
The director was also quizzed about which actor he's like to see take over from Hugh Jackman in the iconic role, but he (jokingly?) says he doesn't want anyone else to play Wolverine when his Logan star hangs up the claws.
