In a live interview with Hugh Jackman, Hugh discussed how it took him 6 auditions and 9 months of waiting to get the role of Wolverine in the first
X-Men movie. He goes on to credit the role of Wolverine to changing his career.
At the end of the interview,
The Wolverine was brought up, and Hugh mentions how Darren Aronofsky had to drop out, but that they're looking for a new director, and hoping to start production in October.
