Ahead of today's release of X-Men: Apocalypse, the post-credits scene for the film has now leaked online. You can watch the scene below. Producer Simon Kinberg previously said of the scene that, "It’s a nod toward potentially a lot of different movies. I mean certainly the Wolverine movie is related to what happens at the end of it, but there’s also another character that’s introduced, at least in name, in the tag and he could show up in any host of different X-Men films. Maybe a Gambit movie, maybe another X-Men movie.”

Hooray. I can't wait to see Mr. Sinister in a... Bryan... Singer... movie.

@Spock0Clock - Knowing Fox, I'm sure John Green would play Mr. Sinister and he would look just like that.

Bryan Singer is ruining the X-men. He should not have done ANY of the movies after he did the first one with them all dressed in back leather. X-men: Apocalypse is NOT a good movie. if you liked Batman V Superman, then you may like this movie, as it is around just as good. The Deadpool writers and Directors should be in charge of the entire X-Universe.

I loved it, I loved the story, I loved how they gave each mutant their time to show their story. Seeing it again

How are they planning to do Sinister without Apocalypse? Sinister gon' get Singered. If they [frick] up my favorite X-Men villain, I'm officially out of the FoX-Men.

Shouldn't Sinister pop up in Deadpool and Cable?

I mean, it's not just Logan's blood he has, there. It's Scott and Jean's, too.

Also, if they do Sinister in Cable, then he can be a lot more comics accurate, Victorian England origin and everything.

In fact, if they're gonna get into time travel in the Deadpool sequel, could they not have a bit of fun rebooting/softbooting the time-line and show us more comic-accurate versions of the 1963 X-Men and maybe even the Claremont/Byrne X-Men in the '70s?

That would be cool.

At this point, Deadpool has more power than the regular X-Men series, so they should be able to pretty much do whatever they want.

And they can always put the timeline back to normal again, for the next X-Men film.

But seeing the classic and original line-ups of the team is still one of the main things that the fans have wanted to see and have been denied, in all 9 X-Men movies that we've had, since 2000.

It would have been so easy in this one, too.

Instead of bringing Nightcrawler back, Mystique could have brought Angel back and instead of having a young Jubilee at the school, they could have had a young Bobby Drake. Et Voila! Original X-Men line-up.

But instead, we get Mystique and Beast leading a team comprised of Cyclops, Pheonix, Nightcrawler, Storm and Quicksilver, at the end.

(Hey, this is a Spoilers article, eat me)

Going into the next film, however (which we are told would be set in 1993) they should really give us the X-Men '92 animated line-up.

They already have Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Beast and Jubilee.
All they have to do is drop Mystique, Nightcrawler and Quicksilver and replace them with Rogue, Gambit and Wolverine and we have the '90s cartoon!

Right?

Ah, it's never gonna happen, is it?

In the words of the Professor, "It was just a dream".
