Producers of James Bond, Barbara Brocolli and Michael G. Wilson has this to say about the status of our favorite double 0 agent's next adventure.

"Well, our timeline's a little up in the air what with the situation at MGM, so we have to be flexible. We just don't know enough about the situation to comment, but we know it's uncertain."

The current situation of MGM is that is in a massive amount of debt, and no projects will move until the studio and its properties has been bought and taken over. The primary bids are coming in and when things settles down, its pretty sure whoever is in control would like Bond to be back on screen again. Apparently Bond's next adventure is already being worked on...

"Well... we've hired the writers and we've been working with them but it's just too early to say anything. You know, often at this stage, I find myself saying, 'Oh, we're gonna do this and that', then six months from now you'll say, 'That isn't in the film at all - you told me it was...' I think we're at the stage where a lot of ideas are floating around that sound very good, but whether they make the final cut, who knows?"

I'm sure that we will see Bond 23 but I'm hopping it is sooner rather than later.
