James Bond 23 in Trouble?

James Bond 23 in Trouble?

No more adventures for Ian Fleming's Agent?

Producers of James Bond, Barbara Brocolli and Michael G. Wilson has this to say about the status of our favorite double 0 agent's next adventure.

"Well, our timeline's a little up in the air what with the situation at MGM, so we have to be flexible. We just don't know enough about the situation to comment, but we know it's uncertain."

The current situation of MGM is that is in a massive amount of debt, and no projects will move until the studio and its properties has been bought and taken over. The primary bids are coming in and when things settles down, its pretty sure whoever is in control would like Bond to be back on screen again. Apparently Bond's next adventure is already being worked on...

"Well... we've hired the writers and we've been working with them but it's just too early to say anything. You know, often at this stage, I find myself saying, 'Oh, we're gonna do this and that', then six months from now you'll say, 'That isn't in the film at all - you told me it was...' I think we're at the stage where a lot of ideas are floating around that sound very good, but whether they make the final cut, who knows?"

I'm sure that we will see Bond 23 but I'm hopping it is sooner rather than later.

Make more movies like the books. Those things are brilliant, if your looking for great books that go on past 200 pages. Casino Royale was an updated version of the book, and I would love to see truer versions of the books brought to screen.

I want Q back and a little more humor!
Bond has gotten just a bit too stuffy for my liking!
But there will never be and end to Bond 'cause he's
just too cool to kill!

Amazingly I haven't seen Quantum Solace yet. But they should step up the Bond Action for real, because lately they have been just making him a Indiana Jones/Detective Gordon crossover, or something like that lol.

They need more moments like in the video games, where you do something extra "Bond-like" and the music cues, and you get a 007 medal.

btw, The new Bond dude looks like Sean Connery

I say they should end it. I mean, how many Bond films are there? And don't the box office results lower with each one? (I'm not sure, but I think that they do)

Im sure the next one will see Bond cracking a few smarmy one liners, shagging a couple of gorgeous girls, driving a car, fighting a villain with either a deformity or he's just foreign. We have seen it, we will see it, im bored, [frick] Bond.

You should watch the last two bond movies Ror, they're a lot different than the older ones. I love the old ones mind you, but these are a lot less cliche.

I liked casino Royale. It updated it, brought a lot of new things to Bond and his supporting characters..most importantly, a Bond that I din't wish to die within 10 mins of watching. Then Quantum of bollocks undid all of the good work. back to basics shite.

You might want to double check your source again. The project will go on, but it will not start filming until late of this year 2010. The film will be out late 2011. If anyone wishes to read about this, here's the link and source.

They should do a Bond movie with a different format, and a different twist. Like in Ocean's Eleven. Something cool like that.

Somehow I feel deja vu. Didn't Timothy Dalton (The most Fleming Bond) resigned from his contract because it took the Producers too long to produce his no. 3 Bond movie (and that's why he only has two Bond films).

Could it be that Daniel Craig -- another serious Bond -- is heading the same direction? And he has also done only two Bond flicks. Hope not.

Oh well, as they say in the Double O section. It takes 2 kills to get the Double OO.
