Darren Aronofsky is currently filming his upcoming Biblical epic Noah, which is based on the classic Bible story of Noah's ark as well as Aronofsky's graphic novel. The Black Swan director has been sharing interesting tidbits from the film's set over the past week or so, and today he shared a cool piece of information concerning frequent collaborator Mark Margolis.

Margolis has appeared in all of Aronofsky's films, having major roles in Pi and The Fountain as well as brief appearances in Requiem For A Dream, The Wrestler and Black Swan. So it should come as no surprise to find out that the actor has signed on for a role in Aronofsky's latest. No word on which character he will be playing, but Aronofsky has tweeted the following concerning the news:

Margolis joins an excellent cast that includes Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Durand and Dakota Goyo (among others). Many thanks to The Film Stage for the heads up concerning this news.

Noah is set to sail into theaters March 28th, 2014.
