Returning to characters he wrote on both Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, in both animated and comics interpretation. Dwayne McDuffie has a long history with these characters.
"It was really fun to get back with the old characters again," McDuffie said on the premiere of "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths." "To have a budget like this, to have talented directors, story board artist and musicians and the great actors we had who were able to take what was good about the old show to an entirely new level. You've never seen superhero action like this in any kind of animated film. It's just amazing."
Dwayne McDuffie also shared that he will be up to the task of writing two additional DC animated movies, following the previously announced "Batman: Under The Red Hood" by Judd Winick.
"I've written two more [animated] movies," said McDuffie. "I can't say what they are, although I'm dying to say what they are. They're really cool. [Warner Brothers Animation] kind of likes to announce just the next [animated film] to keep focused, but I think people are going to be pretty excited."
"Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on February 23.
