Well you learn something new every day. Apparently 13: Game Of Death was based on a comic book called "13th Quiz Show". If you haven't heard of it, the movie was released in 2006 and was directed by Chukiat Sakveerakul. It was about a man who is led through progressively challenging, degrading and dangerous stunts by mysterious callers from an underground reality game show.

Now Deadline report that IM Global will be producing an American remake with Daniel Stamm as director and co-writer along with David Birke. The remake's title will be shortened to 13. I was a big fan of Stamm's The Last Exorcism (until the end anyway) so I have some hope for this. If you haven't seen the original and are a fan of foreign cinema check it out, it's well worth a look.

I have watched this movie, and it was pretty good. Blended in with the dark comedy twist it was pretty good. But an american remake? Really? It would ruin it. Stop remaking asian movies. Thai movies sucks ass. Even the Red Eagle shit was bad enough (such a rip-off).

Hellsing, well then I guess if you haven't heard of it it's not really a classic.

I haven't heard of that, it must suck! In my house all the classics begin with the word "double"

The original was good, I doubt that the american remake will live up to the original's grossness.

Never heard of this but...

Remake of Bruce Lee´s Game of Death would be awesome!

I know he is not chinese but Byung-hun Lee would be cool choice for the leading role! He looks little bit like Bruce Lee!;)
