A First Look At ANT-MAN AND THE WASP's Range Of Funko Pop Figures Have Leaked Online

All eyes may be on Avengers: Infinity War right now but the first merchandise for Ant-Man and The Wasp has surfaced today offering a new look at Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, and the villainous Ghost.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is fast approaching and while it's not going to be quite as epic as Avengers: Infinity War, we have a long list of reasons to be exicted about Marvel Studios' third and final 2018 release. Now, some Funko Pop figures have leaked online offering up a fresh look at the two titular heroes alongside Ghost. It's a relatively small range but there's a chance that it could expand this year.

After all, it would be good to get Pops featuring the likeness of heroes such as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne but perhaps Marvel Studios has decided that these three characters are the most marketable.

We'll have to wait and see but these promise to be a must-have for any collector when July rolls around. With Avengers: Infinity War less than a week away from being released, expect all eyes to return to Ant-Man and The Wasp very soon and we could even get a new trailer
with that ensemble!

Ghost is very cool looking. Looking forward to how Antman is going to be a "small movie" but still used to tie in the quantum realm

Well, I need that Wasp one.

They both look awesome. I have the original Ant-Man one, it's probably my least favourite one I've got. This new one's a massive improvement.

Off-Topic:

Here’s an interesting article about the vfx industry and Black Panther’s questionable CGI sequences.

@regularmovieguy - Great article.

I also thought some of the CGI in Black Panther looked like shit. Would've been better with two guys in costume fighting, as opposed to a CGI fest.

Thanks for sharing.

@ymk700

Yeah, no problem. I actually found an interview with some guys behind the vfx fight scenes too. It comes down to money, time, and constantly re-rendering.

Pretty interesting stuff. Wish they would pay these guys more, though.

After seeing how good the yellow on Lando works...maybe Wasp could be more yellow in the future.

I don't really like Funko Pop figures much. The design of them never appealed to me, and yet people keep giving them to me as gifts. And every time I mention it to someone and they say "well I'll take them," I always respond with "no you sure as hell damn well wont." I'm not giving those things up.

I hope this movie takes place before Infinity War (assuming Ant-Man is in it, bec if it takes place after, then why can't they just ask Doctor Strange to go to the Quantum Realm and get Janet out himself.

@warmachinerocks - Right. So if they’re not in Infinity War then I totally makes sense. But if they are then it’s a problem unless Ant-Man and the Wasp takes place before it.

@CapstheMFingMan - It's been confirmed that their movie takes place shortly after civil war (and therefore before IW), but they still can appear in IW, there's not necessarily a paradoxe here
