ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: Michael Douglas' Hank Pym Suits Up In These New Set Photos

In Edgar Wright's version of Ant-Man, it's thought Hank Pym would have suited up as the Black Ant at some point in the Marvel Studios movie. That obviously didn't end up happening but some new photos from the Atlanta set of the sequel reveal that the former hero is going to get a new uniform. Well, sort of! Could it be that Hank is working for the FBI or is he just going undercover to help Scott and Hope?

In the movie, as Scott Lang balances being both a superhero and a father, Hope van Dyne andDr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past. It's set to be released in theaters on July 6th so there's not long to wait!

Are you excited to see what happens with Hank in Ant-Man and The Wasp? The character will inevitably play a key role in the movie due to the fact that the story is expected to revolve around tracking down Janet Van Dyne in the Quantum Realm so it should be fun discovering what his arc is here. As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on these latest photos in the comments section.

@noahthegrand - Ridiculous, everyone knows antman would never succeed as a movie. It would be like having galacticus as a giant. The fans would never go for that he would have to be a cloud or something like locusts. Or imagine Hawkeye wearing his regular uniform. Completely insane And preposterous it would never work.

Anyone else get the feeling Pym will make it all the way to AM3 before suiting up?
As a sort of, 'Bruce Willis sacrifices himself to save Affleck to care for his daughter in Armageddon' kinda vibe...

Lang will be in the midst of sacrificing himself to save everyone when Pym steps in to wear the costume one last time, allowing Lang to survive and love his daughter... since, ya know, he's lived a long life, and we *wink wink* lost Janet just as quickly as we gained her back in AM&W.

You read it here first.

I'm glad they didn't kill him off in then first film. They had me for a second but he's a great character.

If The Wasp could summon wasps like Ant-Man can summon ants, I wouldn't go messing with her. Though it's Evangeline Lilly, so I might.
