Damn. Whoa! That's so cool, bro!

Take a breath of relief, as Michael Peña's Luis, undoubtedly one of the best parts of the first Ant-Man movie, is confirmed to make a comeback in the sequel! The Mexican actor joins the rest of the already confirmed Ant-Man And The Wasp cast, alongside Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas, who will reprise their roles in the second part of the World's Smallest Hero saga.

On the red carpet of his newest movie, CHIPSPeña gave an interview to LRM, briefly talking about the upcoming sequel. “So, I’m doing Extinction next, that’s a Universal movie. And then I’m doing Ant-Man, Part 2", the actor said.  While he didn't comment on the previous rumor that he wouldn't be back, it's safe to say there wasn't any truth to it.

You can check out the short interview below:

I feel like i'm the only one that's hyped for this movie. I believe this has great potential. Given that the HYDRA Agent that appeared in the last movie is still alive and has the stolen Pym particles, my guess is that we are gonna see HYDRA once more. I love hoe this franchise is related to the whole SHIELD/HYDRA deal, we may even see the rebirth of Hyda in the 70's or even get some closure for the Agent Carter show!

@BaronZemo - I can't imagine that you're the only one who's jazzed for this. I know I sure am. The first one was much better than I expected, & better I thought than it had any right to be, given the project's history. There's no reason not to assume the second one will be at least as good, if not better.

@BaronZemo - I loved the first film. Although it bugged me that Hank Pym wasn't Ant-Man and the lead character I ended up growing to like Lang after seeing the movie. Ant-Man was a surprise hit for me Like Guardians was. Can't wait to see the Wasp on screen.

@Mercwitham0uth - Yeah, comic unaccuracy really bugged me too. The fact that we'll never see someting like Avengers: Earth's mightiest heroes, with Hank Pym/Yellowjacket and Wasp with the avengers is a real shame. We'll also never get to see an Ultron-Hank relationship. But i've long accepted that this is another universe on its own and i'm curious to see where it'll go.

@BaronZemo - I'm Suuuuuper with you. Wasp has one of my favorite designs. I'm hoping we get a West Coasts team up with Falcon and Hawkeye. Luis was GREAT. The visuals were a blast! I expect Janet to come back as the Red Queen.

This is fantastic news! Ant-Man was one of the only MCU films whose supporting characters didn't ride my nerves(here's looking at you Thor:The Dark World)!

Ant-Man and The Wasp could be a surprise hit. In terms of MCU films it's probably the least talked about, but I think it has the chance to at least somewhat go toe to toe with Panther and Infinity War if they do something fresh, different and exploit everything that worked with the first film as well as toning down it's weaknesses.
