Marvel Studios has released a few new stills from Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, offering a fresh look at three of the upcoming blockbuster's leads.
If these images look familiar to you, it's likely because they showed up online earlier this month as low-res scans from the latest issue of Empire Magazine. Thanks to Disney, though, we can finally share these shots in HD quality.
The Wasp's (Evangeline Lilly) new costume looks great, and very much in line with how the character has appeared on the page in recent years. The Lost alum remains a fantastic choice to play the hero, and despite occasionally courting controversy on social media, we're hoping Lilly continues bringing Hope Van Dyne to life on screen for years to come.
Alas, with the Ant-Man family set to clash with Kang the Conqueror, it's hard to say whether anyone is safe! That goes for Hank Pym as well, though he's looking quite the badass here wielding an Element Gun akin to Star-Lord's.
As for the Multiverse Saga's new big bad, you can also take a closer look at Kang minus the armour that's so heavily featured in the trailers and TV spots for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania up until this point. Hopefully, that means we'll be getting much better acquainted with the villain in the threequel.
Check out these new stills below.
In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
Directed by Peyton Reed, the threequel also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17.
