We knew Aquaman was scheduled to start filming in Australia sometime this month, and it seems James Wan and his crew have wasted little time getting the cameras rolling.
The director posted the following Tweet to announce that production on The King of Atlantis' first solo big-screen adventure is now officially underway.
As you can see, the first scene being shot appears to take place on a submarine, and we also get a look at a new version of Aquaman logo which bares the film's working title, Ahab.
Wan is quite active in Twitter so we're bound to get a few more set snaps over the course of the movie's 6-month shoot. Aquaman is set to swim into theaters on December 21, 2018.
