AQUAMAN: Possible Early Test Screening Reactions Offer An Idea As To What We Should Expect AQUAMAN: Possible Early Test Screening Reactions Offer An Idea As To What We Should Expect

James Wan's Aquaman is set to hit theaters this December and with reports of test screenings taking place last week, we may have an idea of what to expect from the DC Comics adaptation. Check it out!

By the time Aquaman is released, it will have been more than a year since Justice League disappointed critically and commercially so all eyes are on Arthur Curry's first solo outing to deliver and set the DC Extended Universe on the right path. Unfortunately, what appear to be early reactions from test screenings have now surfaced and they may leave fans a little concerned about the upcoming movie.

As always, these should be taken with a pinch of salt and while it certainly doesn't sound like the movie is bad, it may ultimately fall into the "good, not great" category. That's no bad thing, of course, but it probably won't be the reaction Warner Bros. is hoping for as they look to set the DCEU on the right path with releases like this Shazam! and Wonder Woman 1984. There's a long to go yet, though!

After all, test screenings are used to gauge reactions to movies and the studio can then make changes based on them. As a result, we probably have nothing to worry about so don't panic quite yet!

Apparently somebody described as being as good as The Incredible Hulk, a movie I find extremely boring and forgettable outside of its action sequences. Hopefully it's not that because I will be disappointed.

That being said, MCU Phase 1 also contains Iron Man which is pretty great, The Avengers which is awesome Thor which is decent, and Captain America: The First Avenger which is underrated in some regards so hopefully it's more in line with that.

I'm still excited.

@BlindWedjat - TFA is a good movie. Not great, but good. I miss the day when it wasn't a crime for a movie to be good.

Nowadays it's either "GREAT" or "TRASH". Nothing in between.

@Jeight8 - I think that mentality is kinda everywhere these days sadly. Yes, superhero movies recently have been raising the bar pretty high but there will still be movies in between.

I think DC should take all the good movies they can get right now.

Trailer didn't blow me away, but I'm sure the movie will be enjoyable at the very least. I guess we will sea.

@MosquitoFarmer - I was really looking forward to Shazam and Aquaman, but for whatever reason, both of the trailers left me feeling really underwhelmed.

Good not great is something DC fans should take given the disappointing nature of their universe but anything that has the MCU in the phrase is gonna make them go apeshit.

Again, i don't think it will be enough for them.
