AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Concept Art Reveals Cut Squabble Between Iron Man And Doctor Strange's Astral Form

New Avengers: Infinity War concept art reveals a heated argument between Iron Man and Doctor Strange, as the Sorcerer Supreme wonders what's taking Tony Stark so long to find his body on Ebony Maw's ship!

Avengers: Infinity War included many blockbuster moments, but it was the smaller ones that grabbed the attention of a lot of fanboys. Iron Man's meeting with Doctor Strange was among them, but this new concept art reveals that one exchange didn't end up making it to theaters.

Shared by artist John Staub, it shows Stephen Strange as an Astral Projection as he wonders what's taking a grounded Tony Stark so long to find where Ebony Maw is keeping his body.

Likely from an earlier version of the screenplay, this playful banter could have been really good fun!

The second piece of concept art shows the moment Thanos used the power of the Infinity Gauntlet to throw the souls of the Guardians of the Galaxy out of their bodies on the surface of Titan. That did make the final cut, but perhaps wasn't quite as memorable looking as what we see here.

I feel like concept artists sometimes forget that Iron Man is a human being in a suit, and they pose him in a way that’s anatomically impossible. I think they did that here. Tony’s entire body rotates 90 degrees at the waist, and last I checked your body can’t do that.

@santoanderson - Ahh...just like how they drew women in the comics. 😂

That concept art looks off with the twist in the waist. Great meme potential.
