While reviews shouldn't have a bearing on how much we all enjoy superhero movies like Avengers: Infinity War, it's hard not to be curious about both initial social media reactions and the full reviews when they pop up online. After all, they give us a better idea of what we should expect from a movie and often shed at least some light on details moviegoers have been curious about for some time.
The date the embargo for Avengers: Infinity War will lift has now been revealed and we've got quite some time to wait! As you can see below, Twitter will light up with comments from reviewers on April 23rd at 10.30pm and the reviews themselves will arrive on April 24th at 3pm. Should we be worried about them landing so close to the movie's release date on the 27th? Not according to Erik Davis.
The Fandango writer reveals that it's all down to Marvel wanting to stop spoilers from doing the rounds, something which always happens with these movies, hence why we know what the after-credits scenes are days in advance (the trades are also notorious for mentioning huge story moments in their reviews).
