WORLD WAR HULK? Kevin Feige Reveals More About What Comes Next For The Hulk After THOR: RAGNAROK
Mark Ruffalo recently revealed that The Hulk is getting a three movie arc which kicks off with Thor: Ragnarok and now Kevin Feige has revealed more about where things go next for the Green Goliath...
A solo movie for The Hulk isn't going to happen any time soon but the Jade Giant is getting the spotlight in a big way in Thor: Ragnarok. Mark Ruffalo recently revealed that the threequel kicks off a three movie arc for Bruce Banner and Kevin Feige has shed some light on where things go next.
Asked if we're going to see The Hulk continue to become more intelligent or even take on a different shade (remember that he was supposed to turn grey in Avengers: Age of Ultron), Feige indicated that big things are on the way for the hero and that things between Banner and Hulk are different now.
"Anything’s possible. It is something when we were talking to Mark about this movie and trying to get him excited and getting him to agree to be in this movie, I did pitch to him a potential, sort of three movie arc for the character starting with this and that is what we ended up doing. Now, I won’t say where it goes, but it’s the continuing evolution of the relationship between Banner and Hulk and you see a side of it here. There’s a great line. He [Banner] says, “it’s different this time, usually it feels like we both have a hand on the wheel, but this time he was driving and I was locked in the trunk.” Are they ever going to be able to resolve that?"
If The Hulk is beginning to take control, could World War Hulk be in the works? There are ways that could be adapted for Avengers 4 but after spending his previous big screen appearances as more of a supporting character than anything else, it's safe to say that's going to change over the next few years.
