An AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Extras Casting Call Pretty Much Confirms A Visit To Asgard

Thor vs. Thanos? Based on these new details about extras Marvel are hunting down for Avengers: Infinity War, that sounds highly likely, while we also have some fresh intel on Black Panther...

Avengers: Infinity War is going to be a huge movie, and while most of us have suspected that Thanos would pay a visit to Asgard at some point, that's now been pretty much confirmed via an extras casting call discovered by Comic Book Resources. Apparently, Marvel is looking for men and women of any ethnicity between the ages for 18-50+ for "fun" background roles. However, they specifically want guys with long hair and beards. Oh, and emails to the casting agency should have the subject line "VIKING."

So, yeah, we're totally heading to Asgard, but those same extras will "need to be comfortable with fake blood and with wearing special effects makeup." That doesn't sound like good news for Thor's home, so we can probably expect to see the God of Thunder's realm come under fire from the Mad Titan.

Meanwhile, Black Panther (which is also being shot in Atlanta) is searching for Asian men and women from 25-85 to portray upscale guests, a bartender, card dealers and a hostess "at a very nice event." With parts of the movie shooting in South Korea, chances are this has something to do with that.

So, some interesting details to dissect here, don't you think? As always, share your thoughts below.

@SonOfAGif - And AoS =/

Quake could easily rock it with the rest of them.

@SonOfAGif - If they truly are not going to be in the movie then I am pretty positive Ike Perlmutter is to blame. The t.v. shows beyond smalls ties to the movies keep going farther and farther away. AOS hasn't tied into the movies since I believe season 1 and they even took the Inhumans from Feige by putting them in the movies. Feige has said he likes the Inhumans and personally wanted to see their movie made. Well the animosity between Perlmutter and Feige is pretty well known and since Disney put Feige in complete control of Marvel Studios Perlmutter is pretty pissed. So I can easily see him not allowing any of the t.v. shows to be mixed with the movies.

@pesmerga44 - Or it's not a priority for either side to try to jam in Defenders. Both sides are VERY busy with their own mega-crossover as it is. They have to serve the stories that came before, not waste production resources and time and screentime for characters that don't have a stake in the story.

@pesmerga44 - What i don't get about this is why doesn't Iger pull rank and make Pelmutter let Feige have access if he wants?
