ENDGAME's Chris Hemsworth Did Not Like Captain America Lifting Mjolnir

Probably one of the most memorable scenes in Avengers: Endgame saw Captain America lifting Thor's hammer Mjolnir. Some fans loved this scene and some did not. Here is what Chris Hemsworth thinks.

Avengers: Endgame was full of "fan service" moments which made fans start talking and discussing on hot topics. One of the most popular scenes in the film was Captain America picking up or lifting Thor's magical hammer Mjolnir. This has been one of the hottest topics between fans. Is Cap worthy or is his not? Will he ever pick up the hammer? Should he?

Well, Cap did indeed pick up the hammer after 8 years in the MCU. Thor actor Chris Hemsworth was asked about this scene in the ACE Comic Con and shared some thoughts.  “Uh, pretty angry, yeah. I’m sick of people picking up that hammer, to be honest," he said. "It’s playing with my toys, you know, it’s like 'give me that.' “I haven’t seen him pick up Stormbreaker yet, though. Did he? See, I did this when that happened." This is where Hemsworth's sense of humor starts up and he closes his eyes.

Hemsworth is still playing Thor in the MCU but Chris Evans has exited the role of Captain America, turning into an old man in the last part of Endgame. Hemsworth will return as Thor for the fourth movie in the character's franchise, Thor: Love and Thunder. Director Taika Waititi from Thor: Ragnarok will return as well and direct the new movie.

However, another person will apparently pick up Mjolnir. Jane Foster. What do you think about these two topics? Were you glad Cap picked up Mjolnir and what do you think of Jane Foster being next in line? Let us know in the comments down below.

Made sense to have Cap hold it, didn’t like Vision being able to lift it but it was done to show he could be trusted in AoU.

@CaptainAmerica - It made more sense for Vision to be worthy of Mjolnir as his creation and soul is pure like Adam Warlock in the Infinity Gauntlet comic. Vision in AOU was portrayed to be this creation of Banner/Stark and the mind gem, who’s purpose was to make sure the stones don’t fall into the wrong hands and to make sure that all life form can keep existing. His intentions were neither good or bad, just pro-life so his worthiness of Mjolnir was more convincing to me. Captain America didn’t make a lot of sense, it was pure fan fiction brought to life and felt more like shock value. If Cap can pick up the hammer that means every Avenger should be able to pick it up. Cap’s worthiness of picking up Mjolnir and storm breaker just lessens the lore of Thor and his world. But TBH all Thor related stuff in the MCU have been terrible, only Thor 1 was really true to the comics.

@mastakilla39 - meant more of an emotional sense. I know why Vision was able to lift it. But Cap lifting it made more emotional sense, and most comic readers expected it anyways

@DarthLaney - I feel like everyone saying Hemsworth is uniquely funny has no idea of Aussies sense of humor. I'm not saying he isn't funny, just that it's everywhere down here.

In terms of the MCU character versions, Captain America is probably more worthy to lift it than Thor is.

The press tour footage over the years of these guys goofing around together is absolutely hysterical! The best of Endgame was the Renner/Rudd hilarity. (Mackie/Stan will always be a classic.)
