Theme park fans have been waiting for quite some time now to find out when Disney will start expanding Marvel's presence at its resorts and we finally have some good news! It's been announced today that new experiences at Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland are on the way which will revolve around all of your favourite Marvel heroes starting from 2020 onwards.
At Disneyland Resort, a new superhero land is being built which will see the Guardians of the Galaxy joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe, furthering the evolution of Disney California Adventure park. This new land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! ride and replaces "A Bug's Land."
At Walt Disney Studios Park, there's going to be a reimagined attraction where riders will team up with Iron Man and their favourite Avengers on what's described as "a hyper-kinetic adventure." Multi-year expansion plans are also underway at Hong Kong Disneyland, including a new themed area that will include an exciting attraction where guests will be able to team up with Ant-Man and The Wasp.
So, there's lots to look forward and if you look below, you'll see that this cool promo art provides a fresh look at The Wasp as she'll appear in the upcoming Marvel Studios sequel. Will you guys be heading to any of these parks? Be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section.
