The HULK Finds His Way on to The Terror Advisory List!

Future Hulk star and member of the upcoming Avengers film finds himself on a different kind of list.

Mark Ruffalo who is set to take his turn at portraying Marvels Incredible Hulk has found himself on a brand new list. The future Avengers star organized screenings for the documentary Gasland about natural gas drilling earlier this year.

He learned that his efforts to raise awareness and try to bring a stop to natural gas drilling raised some eyebrows at Pennsylvania's Office Of Homeland Security. It also landed him on the terror alert watch list.

The fact that he made the list doesn't seem to bother Ruffalo as he told GQ Magazine "Its pretty f**kin funny."

Hawksblueyes: It sure seems that The Hulk finds it difficult to get a single moments peace. At least they haven't placed Thunderbolt Ross on his trail at this point.

American second tier actors on the watch list, nuns run though full body scanners, American born suburban three year olds given invasive pat downs. I feel safer everyday.

@LEEE- Ruffallo won't and shouldn't be in the TV show, it's an entirley seperate Universe. That's like (at the time) wanting Welling to play Superman in Superman Returns, or Welling to paly Superman now. It should have no connection with the movies.

@akthunder- What's wrong with someone being liberal? I mean I don't really like either party but you'll notice that all of these "liberal actors" are actually trying to help out, and because of that they get put on a suspectd terrorist list.

Akthunder@ You're right!! Lets put comic book movies in the hands of rightwing, hyperbole fueled corporations like Fox...

..I hear they have a pretty good track record with this sort of thing. ;o)

weird. Well he's obviously not a terrorist so he's got nothing to worry about. But the trippy question is "what nit wit made the decision to put him on the list in the first place?"

I means seriously... this guys environmental concerns have absolutely nothing to do with homeland security right?

Absolutely ridiculous. While I find his typical liberal eco-nut elitism distasteful in every way, I find it even more distasteful for him to be placed on a terror watch list because he is in an eco-nut documentary.

@Ryden "...you'll notice that all of these "liberal actors" are actually trying to help out..."

LOL None of these elitist butt munches practice what they preach. Any idea what the carbon footprint of their lives is? What about a $100+ million dollar movie? If they really cared they sure as hell would not make them.

@Selina that's true. ELF comes to mind.

According to the Patriot Act, homeschooling your children or knowing too much about your constitutional rights (among other things) make you a potential domestic terrorist. It's no surprise such public criticism of the government policy to allow big business to bypass the Clean Air and Water Act to heedlessly destroy an entire ecosystem on American soil in pursuit of natural gas would land him on a future FEMA internment camp roster...

@Guason Read Animal Farm and you may begin to understand what the term sheeple means.

@TheMyth I am no fan of the Patriot Act (shudders). But you're more likely to be a victim of our out of control government flying from Houston to Atlanta than holding to some left wing ideology. Don't get me wrong I believe in conservation, but the Captain Planet approach is weak as hell. I'd love to see the greeny weenies live in a world with out petroleum. They would be singing a different tune then.

@Intruder...Please Bush 43 again? Really? Its been both the parties that have screwed us and you know what is even worse? Its been our fault all along.

Why don't actors just act, leave the politics to the politicians.
Mrmo416
Mrmo416 - 11/24/2010, 7:32 AM
I'm a firm believer in the power of business to help solve our environmental problems. companies/politicians don't care about the environment because WE as consumers/voters don't care enough to make it heavily influence our decisions. So, we're waiting for companies/politicians to care more and they're waiting for US to care more. But it starts with us

@ Selina Kyle: the terror watch list has over 1 million names now and growing. In the last year or 2 they took off Nelson Mandela (and it was because of political reasons, not because they stopped suspecting him of terror)

@number21: I don't think anybody should leave the politics to the politicians. By the very nature of their job, they're accountable to their constituents. The second they/we forget that, the system of democracy begins to decay.
