Batman: Arkham Knight has sold over 5 million copies since its release in June and is currently the second best selling game of the year! The well-received final chapter in Rocksteady's long-running Arkham series came with an expansive Season Pass that promised to release new content for at least six months. So far, fans have received three months of extra DLC content and earlier today, in a lengthy blog post, Rocksteady unveiled what they plan on releasing for the rest of the calendar year, including, but not limited to, a Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice Pack, a new Catwoman Arkham Episode, a new Robin-centric Arkham Episode, Christian Bale's Batsuit skin from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, and a Most Wanted Expansion, which will provide all-new Most Wanted missions for the Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, the League Of Assassins, and Mister Freeze.

Yes, you read that right, coming in November we have the awesome Batsuit AND Batmobile from the highly anticipated movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This will be available to everyone, with Season Pass owners getting exclusive early access.

In response to the requests from the community, we’ve worked with our friends at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment to bring the 2008 movie, The Dark Knight skin to players in the December pack.

Finally, also in December, we’ll take you back to 2009 with the Original Arkham Batmobile, which will be available to drive on race tracks and conditional free-roam around Gotham City just like the other downloadable Batmobiles.

AR Challenges are one of the most popular features in the community, and we’ve been working to make our game better by implementing player feedback wherever possible. Thanks to fans telling us what they want, we’ve added Character Selection for AR Challenges. We’ve added support for this in combat challenges in October, and we are working on this for Invisible Predator maps ready for November. We’ve also heard you ask for round-based AR combat Challenges and these will be added into the mix from October onwards, along with the ability to select Hard difficulty to remove counter icons and get bigger score bonuses. We’ve heard you wanted more interior locations, so these have been added and will continue to be used in upcoming maps. Finally, some players found the blue walls around AR Challenges to be a little distracting, and if you’ve got the latest patch you’ll see we’ve significantly reduced this effect to increase the immersion.

There are two more Arkham Episodes coming in November. Catwoman’s Revenge puts players in control of Catwoman as she sets out to infiltrate the Riddler’s HQ as the final humiliation in their encounter. A Flip of a Coin, sees Robin dealing with the aftermath of Batman’s disappearance and hunting down Two-Face. The three post-launch Arkham Episodes are all roughly the same duration and are intended to be short, narrative vignettes that give a sense of what has happened to each of these characters after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. We’re also converting these environments into new challenge maps to give more replay value to these packs.

In December, the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion will appear in your Gotham City, with each one approximately the similar length as the Most Wanted missions in the main game. Mad Hatter is playing a sinister mind-game with Batman, and GCPD’s finest are the pawns. Killer Croc has escaped from his maximum security cell and is wreaking havoc on a crashed airship. The League of Assassins has returned to Gotham City, but what is their motive and who is in charge? And Mister Freeze may be closer than ever to completing his life’s work… but at what cost?

Thanks for reading right to the end! It’s a relief to finally be able to take the lid off what we’ve got coming up on Batman: Arkham Knight for the rest of 2015, and it’s great to have this awesome community along for the ride. Thanks for letting us know what you think. This game wouldn’t be the same without you.

From the team at Rocksteady.

Man, Arkham Knight was such a disapointment

Yeah it was fun however didn't have the great story and writing and re playability that City has. Plus didn't really add anything new to the fighting gameplay

Oh and the Batmobile SUCKED!

If they make another Arkham game, I bet it's going to be based off of Batman and Superman.

2 minutes in and Pesci is already complaining about something amazing.

I hate to nitpick but they didn't add the blades to the arm bracers or from that angle you can't see it. Also, it's unbelievable that we'll get to drive the batmobile and wear the suit before the movie comes out!

Meanwhile, the PC version is left to rot in the broken messs they released it as.

I may be more of a DC fan and it's obvious that Rocksteady are heading into Superman next, but I would love to see Rocksteady make a Spider-Man, Captain America or Daredevil game. Daredevil would be my top choice and could you imagine all the costume DLC they'd have for all of these?

Plus didn't really add anything new to the fighting gameplay

Environmental takedowns, fear takedowns, picking up stuff off the ground and throwing and or hitting enemies with it.

Rocksteady isn't doing Superman next.

WB Montreal is working on Superman.

1) I may have to get this game.

2) I would LOVE an Arkham-like BvS game

@LEVITIKUZ WB Montreal is most likely doing Suicide Squad and last time I checked nothing was confirmed. All there have been were supposed leaked pics and rumors

@Kr08

Dude trust me, as the one who's been digging about the rumored Superman game online, WBMontreal is working on it.

WB Montreal is working on an open world DC game and someone for an audio studio, who worked with WB Montreal on Arkham Origins, listed he currently worked on a Superman game.

Plus all the concept art has copyrights on them and the company's location who did the copyright was Montreal.

Plus in a video where 20 game developers were asked if a Superman game was possible, only WB Montreal said yea.

WB Montreal is likely working on a Superman game

I'm betting when Batman V Superman is released in theaters, WB will release the Arkham Knight GOTY edition and when the film fits home release, they will release WB Montreal's Superman game.

There is also dual play, dual takedowns, new gadgets, and new enemies to take down differently. There is also like 7 playable characters with each their own fighting style. Red Hood can kill, Harley, Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, Catwoman, Batman, and Azrael. Although Azrael has the exact same move set as Batman.

How could I forget Dual Play.

Best thing ever gameplay wise in the Arkham series. Almost wanted co-op multiplayer but this works way better then that.
Kr08
Kr08 - 10/16/2015, 8:33 AM
@LEVITIKUZ You do know that WB games Montreal is attached to Rocksteady when it comes to the DC games right? Which mean that they can be working with the Rocksteady on the game
Earthbound
Earthbound - 10/16/2015, 8:34 AM
I wish they would have had Man of Steel inspired race tracks for the BvS batmobile. It would be cool to drive through Metropolis as buildings were falling down around you. You wouldn't ever see Superman or Zod, but you'd see large laser beams destroying things around you, it could work.

Invictor

@LEVITIKUZ

About that Superman game, I'm not too sure about this being an image from the game.

Thoughts?
LEVITIKUZ
LEVITIKUZ - 10/16/2015, 8:38 AM
@Kr08

Given how Rocksteady hasn't worked on just Batman and no other projects, I doubt they would help with Superman. WB Montreal first and foremost is a DC game studio. It will only work on DC games. Rocksteady just released Arkham Knight and I don't see them working on any new games that will be out for next year at the moment.

Meanwhile WB Montreal has been MIA since Arkham Origins only doing the Batgirl DLC.

I'm still standing by WB Montreal doing a Superman game.
Matador

Rocksteady would do wonders to this franchise as well.

@KR9 surely if the thing he's saying is completely right then @Pesci isn't complaining. Arkham Knight was a massive disappointment of a game. Saying that isn't complaining, it's just stating a (sad) fact. If there'd been no Asylum or City then Knight may have been amazing, but it's a pale, pale imitation of two of the best games ever. I'd honestly rather play Origins again than Knight.

@Superior

I have thoughts. Photos can be edited. But not your LinkedIn Job resume unless you do it. Which someone wrote they are working on a Superman game.

http://nerdreactor.com/2015/07/19/wb-games-montreal-superman/

His profile now has that gone but being how only one can change your LinkedIn resume, it gives the Superman much more credibility. Thoughts?

Have the price dropped on this game yet? I heard this game is pretty much the same as all the previous games. I like arkham but they should have ended this with origins. I'll like to see DC use another character other than Batman and Superman.

So it's fake? I was only talking about that one pic, not a guy's resume; I already know the game is in development.
