Back in 2002, Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee teamed up for a twelve-part story titled "Hush." It was a game-changer for the Caped Crusader and is remembered as one of the best stories to feature the hero in the modern era. Well, we have some very exciting news for you today because it's now been confirmed that an animated adaptation is on the way next summer, something which is arguably long overdue. 

That joins the previously announced Reign of the Supermen, the sequel to The Death of Superman (which premiered last night at Comic-Con). Also confirmed for next spring is Justice League vs. The Fatal Five. Made up of Tharok, Emerald Empress, Validus, Mano and the Persuader, the team debuted in 1967 and are best known for their interactions with the Legion of Super-Heroes. It's said to be an original story so we really don't know much about the direction the animated feature will take.

Normally, Warner Bros. releases only three DC Universe movies every year but a fourth is coming in 2019 and that's Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. Nothing has been revealed about that one but it wouldn't be remotely surprising if it ends up debuting on DC's new streaming service. After all, with Wonder Woman 1984 coming out next year, that would be a smart way to increase subscription numbers.

I want to see the next Teen Titans sequel to Judas Contract. And they hinted at Martian Manhunter at the end of one of them.

Hope Batman Hush is a 2 parter, probably is to celebrate batman's 80th.
Wonder Woman Bloodlines, could be an adaption of Brian Azzerello's run, since its way too soon to do the WonderWoman/Jason story. Although would proffer that they saved Azzerello's run for a 2 part adaption for wonder woman's 80th.

Another year passes, another year without a Green Lantern animated movie goes by...

These new DC animated movies are not bad, but they're not great either. The horrible animation and character designs that started with 'Justice League: War' are, in my opinion, the main problem with them. Even with an 'OK' story like 'Superman: Unbound', the style and character designs made that movie charming.

Hope they don't use that New 52 animation for Batman:Hush. Wonder Woman:Bloodlines will probably be about First Born.

I know the hush book is one of his best just like the rest of them i would have to get this one all though bats is not my fav I hear sups Harley and catwoman is in it so hopefully for the movie they all will be included oh and poison ivy I think the story evoles around her if Kevin does the voice Kool maybe mark can return as the joker too and yes finally another solo. Animated movie its about time dc but can I say this to you a power girl movie would also be nice plz make it happend dc

you should definitely read the story arc though. its really great and the art is amazing.

Either it's a 2-part film like how they did The Dark Knight Returns and how they're currently doing the Death/Reign of Superman or they extend the running time of the film

@BoyWonder - I watched a little bit of it and it looked interesting. Wasn't a big fan of the animation though. Plus those disproportionate Phil Bourassa designs are really distracting.

Holy shit, I loved Hush. I just hope they don't use Phil Bourassa's character designs. I don't recall who did the designs for Under the Red Hood but those have been my favourite so far in DC Animation. Also, Bruce Greenwood did a pretty good Batman.

YES! Hopefully with the adaptation, they add more Bruce and Selina stuff. Throw in a love scene, and throw out the breakup. It's unnecessary, a bit contrived, and would be a lame way to end the movie.
