Batman Forever is better than all the Batman's combined, I like the movie so much!

I hated this movie. More so than Batman & Robin, at least that was funny. This is just pure garbage. The cinematography is ugly, the acting is bland and the action is atrocious. The only part I liked was when Robin saves Batman from being buried underneath all that sand, that was a great moment. Too bad the rest of the film couldn't live up to it.

I like this movie, there was a really long time when I absolutely hated it but now I think I can appreciate it for what it is. I like how Batman is portrayed here more so than in the two Burton films, but I'm still not really a fan of how Gotham was done. When they do the Affleck Batman films, I hope they take the atmosphere of this film into account a little. I still that they should go for a more serious tone but a little bit of influence from this movie would be a good touch.

Better than Man of Steel, you mean to say? No way, man. No freaking way. Batman Forever was horrendous in every way, it was a misguided ugly old mess of a film that has terrible dialogue and atrocious cinematography (which is at times very nauseating to watch because of all the strange lighting work done throughout the film). This film left a bad taste in my mouth, I didn't laugh at it, I didn't emote in any way at it, I didn't enjoy it at all because it was so uninspired to be on the same level of grittiness as the Burton films. Say what you will about those two films, and Burton (being the jerk that he is at times) never reading the comics, but I loved those two films and the darkness they displayed. They were dark movies and imagine how incredible Tim Burton's Two-Face and Riddler could have been if he was still in-charge and he still had Michael Keaton (because they still had the same Alfred afterall).

I actually kinda like this one. It's definitely not great, but watching some of the deleted scenes, if you take it for what it is, it's not THAT bad.

Batman and Robin on the other hand is torture. I'm not even joking.

I'd probably prefer this to MOS. Man of Steel was just sloppy and didn't even know what kind of movie it was trying to be. At least this was consistent.

This movie could pass for a comedy; however, that may not be a bad thing. In need of a good laugh? Watch Batman Forever.

In need of a brilliant, seriously taken Batman film?

Watch The Dark Knight or Batman Begins.

But I guess they suit their time.....

No, that argument doesn't work, either.

Tommy Lee Jones could have been a terrific TwoFace, had Burton been kept on as the director. But Burton also wanted Marlon Wayans as Robin. I'm not sure how that would have been, but Wayans definitely displayed his dramatic side in Requiem For A Dream. You know Wayans got paid and receives royalties off this movie, even though he wasn't in it?

If you look at Batman and Robin as a modern take on Adam West's Batman it is not so bad.

To me Batman forever was an ok film, Val Kilmer still did a kool job as Bruce/Batman and yes it did have some awesome scenes in the film...

Just everything fell off once they casted Clooney in B n R, as being both Bruce and Batman, he didnt even try to hide his voice in both roles, it was all Clooney either in or out of the costume.

My best Batmen list goes like this:

Kevin Conroy
Michael Keaton
Val Kilmer
Christian Bale
Adam West
Then Clooney

This film was just awful. Sure, Batman and Robin was worse, but not by leagues. Both Carey and Tommy Lee Jones were ridiculously over the top and goofy. A real director making a real Batman movie could have gotten them both to act. Kilmer on the other hand, was just the opposite to the extreme. He was so bland, I barely remember his peformance. I was excited when these movies came out, but Batman is the only one that I am really pleased with of the four.

P.S. A 3:16 run time on best scenes of Batman Forever is 3:15 too long.

Oh come on, Forever (and Batman and Robin) are glorious nonsense. Even if every time I see it I keep getting amazed at how bad Tommy Lee Jones' acting is in it.

It's a shame they didn't go the whole nine yards and put that giant penny in there. Just turn it into a full on silver-age Batman and whip out the pink costume.

@GreenLanternRulez If you think Batman Forever was the worst Batman movie, clearly you didn't see Batman & Robin. This is the second worse Batman movie.

I will NEVER understand what the hell Schumacher was thinking......I mean would it have been THAT hard to read a Batman story just to see that a Bat film should NEVER be campy again. Those 2 movies should be erased from history
