The Red Hood, a.k.a. Jason Tood, doesn't have a great history with clowns. After all, his murder at the hands of The Joker left him a little bitter after his subsequent resurrection. But what would happen if Jason Todd came face to face with another famous terrifying clown? That's the question that writer/director Hisonni Johnson seeks to answer with his short fan film simply titled RED HOOD: IT.

The film begins with Red Hood (Noel Schefflin) taking out a group of mercenaries one by one. After interrogating the last of his victims, Jason sets himself on a path directly into IT's hands with a few suprises along the way.

Touting some impressive acting and visually appealing camera work, RED HOOD: IT is a grisly, violent fan film that'll make Batman and Stephen King fans alike float with glee. And with a hell of a cliffhanger at the end, it's possible we'll see even more. Check it out below:

RED HOOD: IT is presented by Robot Underdog, a YouTube channel devoted to allowing independent filmmakers to find their audiences. Check out their channel for more films like this one.

Saw this a few days ago. Points for creativity, and some of the stuff in here works really well. Other parts feel a bit awkward, but on the whole, I really enjoyed it

Also,

*SPOILER-ALERT*

As happy as I was to see Danny Shepherd back as Nightwing at the end, that suit made my eyes hurt. Not really sure why they wouldn't just use the Ismahawk Nightwing suit... those shoulder pads kill me.

@EpitomeofAwesome - the suits will probably change with every new entry. That’s how the “big” studios do it and they do it to sell toys. I don’t think these guys are doing it to sell toys so it’s more than likely for evolutionary purposes.

Some interesting bits, but runtime needed to be trimmed by half.

These fan made films are getting better and better. And what’s so funny is that they can make a WHOLE movie that’s 25 minutes long and you understand who the hero is, who the villain is and what the problem is going to be without all that backstory. How many times do we need to see Krypton get blown up, The Wayne’s get murdered or Uncle Ben get smoked?
