Epic Fan Art Transforms THE BATMAN's Robert Pattinson Into The Devilish Batman Who Laughs

We've seen a few official shots of Robert Pattinson suited up in The Batman, and while Matt Reeves's movie will likely serve as an origin story of sorts for his Bruce Wayne, there are a lot of directions the character could be taken in the future. Could that involve the Batman Who Laughs?

Introduced by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo in Dark Knights: Metal, the villain has become a breakout star in the DC Universe and a one of the Dark Knight's most terrifying foes.

Hailing from an alternate Earth where Batman was exposed to The Joker's toxin, he's basically an even more deadly and evil version of both characters combined. In this must-see piece of fan-art, we learn what Pattinson would look like if he played the Batman Who Laughs in a future film.

It works really well, and is something we could potentially see in a future sequel to The Batman!

Reeves' first film will revolve around Bruce's second year as a superhero, exploring what led to him becoming known as the World' Greatest Detective. Along the way, he'll meet characters like Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler.

The Batman is set to be released on June 25, 2021 barring any further coronavirus-related delays.

One character I will NEVER get to see adapted to live action. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo really have done a great job building on the Batman mythos. Most writer/artist duos lately only get to add one or two truly interesting things to stories they produce. Rarely do you see them knock it out of the park and create so many damn iconic looks and storylines. Snyder and Capullo have given us a lot.
