STAR WARS EPISODE IX's Oscar Isaac Suits Up As THE BATMAN In Awesome New Fan-Art

In what appears to be a pretty sketchy rumour, we heard yesterday that Oscar Isaac is being eyed for a key role in The Batman. While there's nothing to say he will play the Dark Knight, fans have already started speculating about the possibility that he'll suit up as the Caped Crusader, especially as Ben Affleck's future as the DC Comics character seems highly unlikely given what's happening with him.

While the Star Wars Episode IX actor would be a very different Bruce Wayne, there's no denying that he has what it takes to play Batman and we know Matt Reeves is interested in casting a younger actor (well, that's what the rumour mill claims but we don't actually know for sure either way right now).

With Reeves' screenplay still not finished, we have no real idea what he has in store for The Batman but this amazing fan-art shows what Isaac would look like if he were to don the cape and cowl. It's a very cool piece of artwork and the Arkham trilogy influence here is clear to see. Whether or not the actor will be able to take over the role remains to be seen but we'll be sure to keep you updated.
