Prey features Commissioner Gordon [Gary Oldman] finding his way in his new role as Commissioner following the events of Frank Miller's Year One, whilst trying to maintain his relationship with a Batman who's despised by cops and seen as a criminal [The Dark Knight's ending]. Enter Professor Hugo Strange, a police psychiatrist obsessed with Batman. Prey also features Catwoman, whom earlier we reported an actress being offered the role back in August. Prey is easily one of the best stories that ran in the Legend of the Dark Knight series [this book reprints #11-15] in the vein of the Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween, Dark Victory and Strange Apparitions.

If true then Hardy could be Max Cort. Remember those Billy Zane rumors a few monthes back? Can he pull off Hugo....?

As put well put by other sites... So few people know the actual story of the film, so few know what actually going on with it's development right now, that if anything like this leaked the person would be found out and fired.

Therefore, I am not going to trust anything we get about this film unless/until we get it from WB themselves.

If they decide to go with Hugo Strange and Catwoman as the two new characters I will be highly disappointed. I love Catwoman.. but Hugo Strange? If they can fit Black Mas k into the story reasonably, go for it. BLACK MASK DAMMIT!

I think everyone would agree that that Hugo Strange would be poor follow up for the joker especially if this is the last installment of Nolan’s batman movie. I would actually love to see a well developed Bane. Also I really hate it when the time line of villains seem to take off immediatly after eachother, wouldnt it be safe to say that having the next batman take place several years after the dark knight would make for a more believable story? I think it would be very cool to open the movie with a good montage of different baddies from the batman universe taken out. Which could lead a massive arkham jail break. What do you think?
