While attending the premiere for The Dark Knight Rises Christian Bale explains how he feels with the conclusion of the franchise:

"Yeah, it's bittersweet, but I think though that Chris is such a good storyteller, if he says it's the right time to finish, it's the right time to finish," Bale told E! News on the red carpet at tonight's Dark Knight Rises premiere in New York.

"It's the only character I've played three times and there's certainly a lot more stories that could be told, he's a really interesting character, but enough's enough. It's nice to leave when we're out on top instead of leaving people wanting less."

That isn't all from the interview with eonline. They got a chance to talk to Joseph Gordon-Levitt about his thoughts on Anne Hathaway in her suit:

"I'll tell you what—she's sexy as hell, but she's not doing the typical, like, ‘Oh, I'm a vampy, sexy girl,'" said Gordon-Levitt, who plays idealistic cop John Blake in the film. "She's strong. She's a badass, and I think that's cool that she's setting an example that you don't have to be a girly-girl to be sexy."

It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.
