Batman: Arkham City expands upon the gritty, atmospheric scenery and characterization that catapulted Batman: Arkham Asylum to the forefront. It is set in a sequestered section of Gotham City that has become the home for the criminally insane. Players are introduced to a brand new story that bring together an ensemble cast of characters and villains from the Batman universe, as well as enhanced gameplay features that build upon the ultra-realistic Dark Knight experience that fans enjoyed with Batman: Arkham Asylum.







Batman: Arkham City is set to be released sometime next Fall on Playstation 3, X-Box 360 and PC. Stay tuned to CBM for more on the highly anticipated video game in the coming weeks and months!

This Game looks EPIC! I Can't wait! I wish they would have put this kind of effort into a Superman or the Spiderman Games :(

I doubt they would use Strange for both the game and TDKR he is too obscure a character to all of a sudden have two major roles. I think the hype about Hugo as TDKR villain is just that hype. The game looks amazing though!!!!!!!

See now... my mind can't compute why Rocksteady can give us THIS... and Sega gives us shit. Like, Sega isn't even [frick]ing trying. Haven't they learned from Arkham Asylum already?!?!?! Make something good, and people will [frick]ing BUY IT!!! What does Sega have against making money, really???

I would personally love to see them do Hush or Hugo but I just think that all the hype may have been because he was the villain in Arkham City and you know how rumors go. One person says I heard that Hugo strange was going to be the villain in something and by the time it gets to us he's the major villain in TDKR. Just my thoughts I could be way wrong.

Intruder@ I really doubt Nolan will go "comicbooky" it’s just not his style, he has established the Batman movies as a true life scenario. Doing something like the killer Croc or Mr Freeze would venture too far from the style he has established.

@Brashlight Nolan could make Croc a real life villain. A huge guy 7' or so with a genetic skin disease. Maybe worked with a circus so he files his teeth down. I don't think he will but it's possible.

Batfan@ I agree, Nolan can make the impossible look possible, it just seems a little bit of a stretch to me but again, if anyone can pull it off Nolan can. Personally I want to see The Riddler. I would love to see what Nolan could do with that type of character. You don't have to make him comical like the 60's show or Jim Carrey's version. You could definitely do something sinister with The Riddler. That’s just me though.

It would be interesting to see Strange both in this game and in the movie (TDKR). I hope that if Nolan does use Strange, he adds another more recognizable villain.

Brashlight- Pretty much ANY comic book film adaptation games they've done. They certainly don't NEED to make them suck. Should Sega focus on bringing us Rocksteady quality? I just can't understand their way of thinking.

for the record, I'm siding with Intruder about Hugo...

could hugo strange being the villain in Arkham be some kind of viral marketing for TDKR? Or some kind of weird, backwards viral campaign for the game too? Generate interest from the game for TDKR, and folks who see Hugo in TDKR go out and want to play Arkham..

Shaman@ I completely agree! I hate any video games financed by the studio to be released in conjunction with the movie they are always half assed and lack luster. I was so hopeful the superman game that came out with supes returns would be good. it was a MAJOR let down. i am not really hopeful for the thor or Cap games.

Oh i know, even the flying was a let down. i was trying to book it see how fast you could go and even that was slow! it would take a couple minutes it seemed to get across the city. i was pretty mad.

I wish all video games would look like this and have the same sort of production values. Instead, we still have to put up with the majority of games being subpar shit. That's the main reason why I've stopped buying games as soon as they come out and wait for a few months until they come down in price. I got sick of paying £40 for something that just wasn't that good, that I'd complete in 4-6 hours!

Still, you can't fault Rocksteady with this game. Like the last one, everything we've seen so far just screams quality. Hell, I've never read a comic featuring Hugo Strange, but that trailer has me desperate to see Tom Hardy play the character in The Dark Knight Rises!

I can't wait to play this game. The story line sounds amaizing the graphics look fantastic and i'm glad they picked Hugo Strange. i could definitley see a tie in with TDKR. If hugo strange will be the movie this is a great way to get him out there for people who may have never ssen him in the comics.

I even wanted Strange in the movie...but now he is too obvious.
I hope he is not in the movie.
And I bet he will not be!
I doubt they will use him in the movie,too.
