Jason Momoa 'Excited' For BATMAN V SUPERMAN

Once again, someone has taken an interview with Jason Momoa to ask the Game of Thrones actor whether he can confirm or deny that he's playing Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

It may be one of the worst kept casting secrets as of late, but Warner Bros. has yet to confirm that Jason Momoa will be playing Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as well as a solo movie, and potentially the Zack Snyder-directed Justice League movie. The actor has also remained tight-lipped about the role, usually giving a "no comment" or explaining why he can't discuss it. However, when Entertainment Weekly asked the Game of Thrones alum if he could finally confirm or deny the casting, Momoa offered: "Well, I'm really excited for [Batman v Superman] to come out in 2016, I’ll tell you that much. I’m really excited to see what is happening in that world."

Not exactly a groundbreaking response, or even a confirmation, but it's great to know Jason Momoa is excited about the DC Cinematic Universe that Warner Bros. is establishing with the Man of Steel follow-up. Especially given he's now a part of that world, whether he admits it or not. Anyhow, with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set to open in two years and Aquaman said to only have a cameo, don't expect Momoa's casting to be confirmed anytime soon.
 What do you think?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, and Holly Hunter. The film, written by Chris Terrio from David S. Goyer's screenplay, and directed by Zack Snyder, hits March 25, 2016!

Apparently when Affleck pushed his wife into the pool during the Ice Bucket Challenge her phone was in her pocket, and it got destroyed.

My guess he will be in BvS, but instead of playing Aquaman it will be Vandal Savage.

I don't realy get it. If he isn't in it. Why not say that straight forward. And if he is in it. Why can't he confirm it like a certain actor did about a week ago with his part??? (Looking at The Rock obviously)

I wonder who the villian will be, if this includes batman, superman and wonder woman, and aquaman the threat has to be big.

Insomnia - The Rock was holding out on who was playing as well, only thing he did differently was confirmed that he was in a DC movie. Also, Momoa must be under some contract that prohibits him from officially stating that he's Aquaman.

He's gonna slay as Aquaman! His solo movie will be epic.
Would love to see him face off against The Rock eventually.

Still think he's the wrong choice but eh.

DCmarvel - I think only Batman and Superman are going to be fighting the main villain, maybe with some help from Wonder Woman. But for Aquaman, I think he's only getting a cameo or maybe a post-credit appearance that sets up the movie after BvS.

I mean, I haven't read the script nor have I seen the film but I just don't picture him as Aquaman.

@DeusExsponge

Wasn't it The Rock himself that came out with that news and not Warner Brothers (or New Line for that matter) Jason is obvious in a contract of some sort. But i cannot understand why he don't debunk/confirm this since every site seems to go with him being on the part and every body seems to think that he is cast. We don't een know when the Shazzam movie is going to be made, but The Rock could speak so loudly about it, wich was very strange if you ask me

Insomnia - Yeah The Rock confirmed it himself and yes it is strange that he (The Rock) can speak about it publicly, but I'm guessing it's because of how popular The Rock is. His tweet about "Green Lantern kicking Superman's ass" generated quite a bit of news and had a lot of buzz about it. His other tweet of Black Adam going against Shazam and Superman also generated a lot of buzz. That's probably why Warner Brothers allows him to talk about it publicly, they know how popular he is and are using his popularity to generate some headlines.

But that's just me speculating and making up some crack-pot theory.

Two Batmobiles! I'm just guessing, but one of those is probably heavily damaged. If so, I hope that means we get an awesome set piece with the Batmobile!
