The Dark Knight's BATMAN V SUPERMAN Kill Count

The Dark Knight's BATMAN V SUPERMAN Kill Count

Batman's rule in the comics of not taking a life has not always extended into his movies, and this is certainly the case for Batman V Superman. So, why not hit the jump for an estimated count of all the times he kills somebody in DC's latest film adaptation!...

Here's some rough guidelines I went by if anyone cares:
1) If you're in a car and the batmobile hits you you're probably dead.
2) I only counted the two in the backseat that get's a car flipped on it because it only hits the back end. Also I'm not entirely convinced they're dead. But whatever non of this means anything. Also Nick Mason said it was okay.
3) I didn't count the guy Batman punches onto his neck, he probably lived through that. Maybe I dunno.
4) The man Batman stabbed looked like it was in the shoulder, though I might be wrong.
5) I didn't count the ones branded because they're fairly indirect kills.
6) I had other things to say but I can't remember.
7) Oh right, thanks to DannyC for pointing out the two grenade kills instead of one in the Patreon cut of this.
8) Believe in yourself.

@MonsieurClunge - Superman chose to sacrifice himself. Those two henchmen were not intent on dying.

It does not really matter if he kills or not in the movies, what really matters is if the story and the movie are really good which in my opinion Batman by Burton, Dark Knight trilogy by Nolan and Batman V Superman by Snyder have all accomplished; having Batman kill but being amazing and EPIC movies

My 2 cents

@KikinGonzalez - I think that IDEALLY, a truly definitive take on Batman doesn't kill. We've yet to have that. But I agree, whether or not a film stays true to the source doesn't determine the quality of that film. TDK is my favorite film, but it takes its liberties.

@GuardianAngel - I agree with you, even when I love most of the Batman depictions we have had in the movies I think we still need a "Batman the animated series" kind of Batman.

To me the Bruce Timm/ Paul Dinny Batman is the DEFINITVE batman in a media outside the comics
