CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR's Sebastian Stan And Anthony Mackie Talk About BATMAN V SUPERMAN
Captain America: Civil War actors Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan have had their fun participating in the Marvel vs. DC war, and in this new interview, the actors give their honest thoughts on Batman v Superman.
If there were any two people that have had their fair share of fun by joining in on the Marvel vs. DC war, it would be Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier). In the past, the two have cracked jokes and poked fun at DC through some light banter, and in a recent interview with BadTaste, the two Captain America: Civil War stars reveal just how much respect they have for Batman v Superman by elaborating on some recent statements made to Collider.
"The interesting thing about that interview, that whole conversation I was saying how much I like the character of Superman, and how I like the old superman and how it deterred from that line," explained Mackie. "But after seeing Batman v Superman, I'm very glad they brought it back. When I saw that movie, I was really excited about it because I said 'Ben Affleck would be a perfect Batman.' And when you watch the movie, he's the best thing about the movie because he shines as Batman."
Sebastian Stan further expanded on the topic of Batman v Superman and gave his thoughts on the portrayal of such iconic characters like Superman by saying, "I'm biased because I really like Christopher Reeves. I like those movies. It's hard for me to ever get past that. Sometimes when you have someone like [Robert Downey Jr.], right? When you have an iconic performance like that, it's kind of hard to see someone else do it." Do you agree with the Captain America: Civil War actors? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
