Chris Evans And Robert Downey Jr. On Kimmel Tonight; Will We See the Debut of the Civil War Trailer?

Along with Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are set to make an appearance on the popular talk show. Could we also see the debut of the long-awaited trailer for Captain America: Civil War?

This week, ABC posted the listings for the guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live. One particular group stood out:

Monday: The Cast of Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens
Tuesday: Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Krysten Ritter, Music from Fall Out Boy
Wednesday: Melissa McCarthy, One Direction
Thursday: Ty Burrell, Lake Bell, Music Mash-up from "Joss Stone Temple Pilots" (Joss Stone with Stone Temple Pilots)
Friday: Liam Hemsworth, Tracee Ellis Ross, Music Mash-up from "Jewel and the Gang" (Jewel with Kool and the Gang)

Along with Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter, it seems the Marvel stars will be bringing some extra hero power to the show tonight. Keep in mind, Kimmel is also where we saw the debut of the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer a year back. Could we get a repeat of the same tonight? Guess we'll have to tune in to find out!

I wouldn't be surprise if their there to promote some kind of new EW cover of civil war instead. Also think it's interesting that Jessica Jones will be there with them too(yes I know it's probably bc of the tv show)

Low expectation but if it's a trailer cool

@Jeight

Do you actually believe that Marvel would drop the trailer for the most anticipated and ambitious movie to date tonight and they wouldn't TELL ANYONE BEFOREHAND?????

Marvel's doing a Squirrel Girl/Howard the Duck team up film we all wanted?

Nah. It'll debut with Shit Wars and then it'll be on TV on New Years Eve and January 11. ESPN has the broadcast rights for the Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, and FBS Championship game this year. They'll use those games to promote Disney movies instead of buying airtime during the Super Bowl, just like last year.

I would adore them just dropping the trailer. For one, it can generate hype on its own. (Wouldn't help Kimmel's ratings like AoU did for AoS but oh well) It doesn't need to debut on Star Wars to get millions of views. Sure it'll help tremendously but delaying the marketing push can't be doing it any favors. Fingers crossed something drops tonight because I NEED IT

I doubt they'll drop it tonight without warning.

But they might announce when and how they'll drop it.
