New CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Casting Call Seeks Wakandian African Extras Among Others

Likely referencing to scenes that will take place in the Black Panther's (Chadwick Boseman) nation of Wakanda, an updated casting call for Captain America: Civil War has surfaced. Check out the details

With filming set to begin in the coming weeks, Captain America: Civil War is currently seeking background extras in Atlanta, Georgia, where the bulk of principal photography will take place before moving to several other locations. Following reports that the highly-anticipated Marvel sequel needed Southeast Asian men and women, Tammy Smith Casting now reports that Civil War is looking for "Upscale men and woman" (Men in dark suits and women in dark pants/skirt suits and/or dark conservative dresses ), "Military Men" (with real experience as Military or Weapons/ tactical training), "African men and women" (Nigerian, Ethiopian, Kenyan, etc in casual clothes or ethnic wardrobe), and lastly "College Students" (Ivy League College appropriate attire required).

The fact that Marvel is looking for African extras is likely in reference to T'Challa the Black Panther, who will be played by Chadwick Boseman in Captain America: Civil War (before the 2018 solo movie). The casting call implies that the African prince's nation of Wakanda will be a major setting in the 2016 movie, even though it's heavily rumored to debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron this summer. Anyhow, if you live in or near the Atlanta Metro area, and you wish to apply for any of the extra roles mentioned above, make the jump to Tammy Smith Casting HERE. What do you think?

Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chadwick Boseman, Frank Grillo, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie & Daniel Brühl, with appearances by Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Samuel L. Jackson expected. The film opens May 6, 2016
