Nice Scars! Frank Grillo Unmasks As 'Crossbones' On CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Set

When we last saw Brock Rumlow, he had been left horribly scarred after a battle with The Falcon. Well, Frank Grillo has now arrived on the set of Captain America: Civil War in full costume as Crossbones, and we get to see what those scars look like when he's unmasked...

As you can see, Frank Grillo has been spotted on the set of Captain America: Civil War minus his Crossbones mask, giving us a look at his scars as a result. Of course, based on what happened in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, almost his entire face will be covered with them in the movie. However, the make-up has probably only been applied to his eyes here because they can be seen through the slits in the mask. Either way, it gives us an idea as to what we should expect, and his desire for revenge becomes easier to understand! What do you guys think? Sound off below!

I'm sure that makeup is only intended to show through the mask, not what his face would look like without it.

I'm I the only who thinks that With all that damage Rumlow received at the end of The Winter Soldier he should of lost some of his hair too? (Partly bald?)

Honestly Crossbones had better be packing a serious punch in this movie. If Cap can go toe to toe with Ultron in Age Of Ultron then Rumlow should be know problem armored or not...

It's not necessary to show his entire body burnt in this scene. he's in his armor. He's face may be entirely burnt. and they'll show that when it's pertinent. looks pretty cool. Get me a pic of those eyes peering through the mask.

lol to the people complaining that his whole face should be burned, he will be wearing a mask which is why he only has scars around his eyes because they can be seen through the eye holes on the mask.

If people only would read the whole article before commenting SMH! It is stated that this make-up is probably only for his mask!

@KryptonianNIKKA- Are you stupid? Lmao The makeup was only put on his eyes because they're shooting a scene with his mask ON which means the camera will only see his EYES. They will Obv apply make up to his entire face when they shoot scenes with his mask off revealing all of his facial damage. Why would they put makeup on his whole face just for it to be covered up in a mask? Idiot LMAO

Also, on a completely unrelated note, does anyone else think Peter Capaldi would be an amazing J Jonah jameson for Marvel's Spidey film? Just take his character from The Thick Of It, tone down the swearing a fair bit and you're off. Thoughts?

You are not gonna put make-up all over his face, if you aren't actually gonna shoot a scene with his face. It's like putting Freddy Krueger in full body makeup for scenes that he is fully clothed.
