Editorial Opinion

I've made it no secret how much I love this film. I've come to the conclusion that it is the best CBM sequel  and on it's way to be the best trilogy.
There were so many great moments in this film, all of which are worth the price of admission alone, in my opinion. Here are a few in no particular order:

Falcon In Full Flight
Some people were holding out for the Red & White costume, which in my opinion wouldn't transfer to screen well. What we got instead was a tactical, practical looking suit which looks like it could exist. Seeing Falcon taking on SHIELD/HYDRA agents as well as Helicarriers was awesome. My favorite bit being when he is trying to lose the missiles and does the tuck and role to both avoid the missiles and create an opening in the Observation Deck.

Widow Learning The Truth
After discovering S.H.I.E.L.D has been infiltrated by HYDRA, Black Widow learns that she isn't on the right track and begins to trust Steve. The film gives us a nice contrast from two people at opposite sides of the spectrum of morality. It gives her character some needed depth and growth.

Cap Kicking Ass Aboard The Sealaunch
Not that we didn't get some memorable fight sequences in CA:TFA or The Avengers, we never saw Steve's capabilities to their full extent. Those, like myself, who played the Captain America video game were left drooling at the thought of Cap moving that way on the big screen. Opening with Cap virtually single handedly taking down a team of Mercs lead by Batroc The Leaper on the vessel Sealaunch was the perfect way to start the film. It had fanboys rejoicing and set the tone for the rest of the film.

Fury's Car Chase
I can't remember the last time I was on the edge of my seat in a car chase. It was very well orchestrated and highlighted Fury's wit. It also gave us a very eerie introduction to The Winter Soldier. My favorite bits were hearing Fury's car had flight capabilities and that the only thing not damaged was the air conditioning.

The Winter Soldier's Cognitive Recalibration
This scene...was very emotional. Giving us insight to the internal struggle that Bucky was going through as well as the device used to keep him in check. Hearing "But I knew him.." gave me goosebumps.

Every Scene Cap And Winter Soldier Shared
From their first fight and hearing the infamous "who the hell is Bucky?" to their final, emotional battle. Their scenes shared were a rollercoaster of feels and fight choreography epicness. Chris Evans and Sebastien Stan have great chemistry and I cannot wait for the next chapter in this story on May, 2016.

One Word: Zola
I'm not going to lie, I sprayed nerd juice all over the cinema. This was just awesome. At this point you realised just how much this film has expanded the MCU. From the infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D to Howard and Maria Stark's assasination. I hope we see more of Zola in the future, especially because it seems his algorithym is responsible for the creation for Ultron. Complete and utter fan service.

Honourable Mentions
Falcon telling Rumlow to shut up, Pierce's story about pre-director Fury, "On your left", "I had a big breakfast", Cap's speech on the helicarrier and Bucky at the Smithsonian.

Finding Zola was easily the biggest for me, it was the only thing I didn't anticipate at all. They saw the computer and I was so confused, and when the face popped up, I started to realize.

Zola and of course the end of Cap/WS fight, the emotions were amazing.

Basically the whole movie. I think that's what you're getting at, and I certainly feel the same. It was an incredibly well constructed film.

One thing I haven't heard anyone mention that I really appreciated is NOT having Widow and Cap get physical. The kiss was well done, and funny etc. But it seems like the trend would be to have it go further for the characters in most movies. That their relationship was firmly established, and never about THAT, was a really good move.

Another thing I liked was how they did just about everything they could to have Tony/Iron Man in this movie without actually HAVING him in the movie.

And I loved how Avengers Tower looks, as well as there being only ONE target in it.

Lastly, I liked how Banner was also a target, and the guns were training on him. Yeah...good luck with that.

I absolutely loved how the "Are you ready, for the world to see you as you really are?" line was for Widow.

All those scenes were dope and Peggy's scene definitely is up there too. Such an emotional scene.

I plastered my seat when I heard that voice. I was like where have I heard that voice? Is it MODOK? And then I was like, it's Armin Zola tm

They mentioned Strange a few times, really getting it primed for his movie.

Nice editorial by the way, Starkasm. Great movie to nerd out about.

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME. EVERYTHING IS COOL WHEN YOU'RE PART OF A TEAM (CAP, WIDOW, FALCON, FURY, HILL)

That was another thing, Hill had a lot more business than I expected. That Smulders sure knows how to pick her roles.

Another thing that's really interesting is how much time he spends in civvies, but unlike Iron Man (and I'm not in any way expressing an opinion on Iron Man 3 here), Steve is ALWAYS Cap. He could run around naked and still be Cap.

For me, the whole film is my favorite. I'll have to think awhile to come up with a list of scenes. I will say that any fanboy who whines about Falcon not wearing that silly red & white suit from the comics is just dumb. He looked absolutely perfect in this movie.
