Teased over the weekend, Hot Toys have now revealed a full look at their 1/6th scale limited edition collectible figurine modeled after Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger. Showcasing it's detail in several images, check them all out below!















Captain America: The First Avenger focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull. Starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving, the film releases July 22, 2011.

Hot Toys IS the best. Period. Their statuette's are flawless. The ONLY flaw I've ever noticed in their products is how GIGANTIC Thor's helmet needs to be, in order to fit over his hair:

they showed the new Cap trailer at a some Disney Rocketeer screening tonight. One of the people who saw it tweeted that the trailer will be released Thursday.

So here's hoping that's true.

One beautiful piece of craft making! But the mark up on Hot Toys is ridiculous. They'll need to be put away in a sealed box for a hundred years before they make any profit. Speculators will probably buy dozens of them and hammer up the prices on eBay. I've seen it happen so many times!

They look even better when you get them. These preview images are usually of the prototype. I'll be getting this one for sure. As I did with Ironman and Thor.
