@SteveRogersSon I mean...its a good story, its Rick Remender were talking here. Are you reading it? It seems Ian is foreshadowed to be caps next sidekick, its pretty cool.

@ monkeyballs3

i agree john romita jr has fallen,i thought his uncanny x-men & daredevil run were really the last time i liked his artwork.

They said they wanted to do stories like Kirby did when he came back to Cap... But for the time being it's nowhere near as good. And Romita should learn to draw round shapes, his art just keeps getting worse with time. I prefer Brubaker's Cap.

I started readin' Cap when Kirby was doin' his run on him in the mid 70's. He wrote, drew, and edited each issue, and even today they are some of my favorite Cap stories. I'll admit they were a lil out there...."The Night People... Zola and his monsters.... The Night Flyer.... The Swine".... to include a few Sci Fi annuals, but Kirby captured the action and made it excitin'.
I guess what makes the stories so special to me, is that at the time I started readin' Cap I didn't realize that Kirby actually created him (well co created) and
through the years I came to appreciate the fact that he did the first stories I read of my favorite Livin' Legend.

This story has made me feel like I'm reading DC crap that they're calling Superman since the New 52 started. This isn't Captain America.

Been following Cap for 40 years. One of the worst stories, I've read and the art is not in my top 100 either.

That first panel is Cap slipping hand out of his glove to smack the rod away from his back (it was a little hard to see at first though).

JrJr's art is the same here as it was in his Spider-Man run, the colourist, Dean White, is embellishing the work to go for a painted feel, and I think it looks great.
