Marvel Comics are continuing to be at the forefront of equality in comics, expanding their roster of homosexual characters once again, this time with Uncanny X-Men's Morph (Benjamin Deeds).

In the upcoming Uncanny X-Men #14 Morph reveals himself to be gay, adding him to a long list of gay characters including X-Men's Northstar and DC's Alan Scott.

What do you think of Marvel's new revelation, are they trying too hard to fit the equality expectation?

When will the X-men ever be an actual comic and not just a disguised liberal propaganda pamphlet. I swear if I read one more speech bubble about "green" energy...

@MexicanSuperman it does make sense in the context of the story. Read the issue and you'll understand.

I don't think the "Morph" name will stick. He doesn't seem to like it when Emma said it. I like how they just improved his powers beyond just simply looking like people he is close to.

This was a really good issue.

@MexicanSupes, Emma wants him to learn to control his powers. He doesn't need to be attracted to the girl to work them. His extended power beyond looking like you is to make you feel calm. He also has a "3rd" power set which was also revealed in this issue.

As Emma pointed out, he's a great asset to that team.

Prodigy is now Bi in the comics (a side effect of his old knowledge absorbing powers)

Morph from The Exiles was awesome.

They should bring back that series instead of making more teams of X-Men.. Always loved those alternate universes.
