In last month's now sold-out issue of Amazing Spider-Man #14, Hallows' Eve made her debut with a killer look and some undeniably outrageous abilities. That was followed by the news she will headline her own comic book series next March, and Marvel Comics has now unleashed a stunning new variant cover.
That comes our way from the best-selling artist Stanley "Artgerm" Lau as he looks to celebrate this villain's arrival in the Marvel Universe on the cover of Hallows' Eve #1. You can check that out below, and should brace yourselves for the unpredictable mischief that awaits each and every time Hallows' Eve throws on one of her many mystical masks.
Hallows' Eve is the new identity of Janine Godbe, the loyal longtime girlfriend of Ben Reilly. Janine Godbe's world has been blown up several times in her life, but after the events of Dark Web, she's in control of her future for the first time in years.
With a bag of super-powered masks and a chip on her shoulder, Janine’s crime spree as Hallows' Eve puts her on the run from the police, but there’s someone else after her too...someone seeking to take her newfound power for themselves!
The upcoming story will keep fans guessing as it explores the exciting and unpredictable potential of Hallows' Eve's powers. The secrets behind her mystical masks and the dangerous abilities they grant her are unlike any the Marvel Universe has ever witnessed and power on this level will attract all kinds of unwanted attention.
The first issue of Dark Web actually arrived in comic book stores today, and we'll be bringing you more details on that soon. We're not sure what happens when Marvel Comics creates new characters with pre-existing Spider-Man characters, but would definitely be intrigued to see Hallows' Eve either in the MCU or Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters.
Hallows' Eve #1 will arrive in comic book stores next March, and you can check out Dowling's cover below.
