The Top Five Movies in Need of a Sequel or Reboot!

For some crazy reason amazing movies and their story lines get stuck in limbo. We never get to enter their amazing story lines and universes again. This makes me sad that so many great stories are lost but this is my top five list for the most deserved films in need of sequels or reboots.

5.) Spawn

Spawn deserves a sequel because of the way they left of the story. Spawns first story arc was completed and he was on the way to become the beast he is in the later comics. I say sequel instead of reboot because this story doesn't need to be told again. Lets see him slay Malebogia, or the war between heaven and hell. Hollywood could explain what the heck he's been doing all these years. Maybe training. But Spawn is an epic, and scary as hell. This universe needs to return to the big screen.

4.) Darkman

I recently just watched Darkman and instantly thought this needs to be remade. The concept seemed really cool and dark, but the movie came off really cheesy. But that good kind of cheesy that you can enjoy. We saw what Sam Rami did with the character, but I don't think he would be the man for the reboot. I know we are in the era of "Nolanise everything" butIi think he would be the perfect director for this movie. Id like to see a him put a dark and scary take on Darkman. Maybe actually giving him a supernatural element.

3.) Punisher (2004)

This movie rocked. Don't understand all of the negative feed back. Thomas Jane did a really good job as frank castle. Id like to see this Punisher in a sequel or in the MCU through an episode of the shield show. I think they should do a version of the ultimate avengers and call them the ultimates because we already have the normal avengers and like in the Ultimates they would be the black ops version. I was so disappointed back when Punisher 2 was canceled. this is the way to bring him back.

2.) Green Lantern

The problem with this movie was the writing. Period. Everything was good except the writing. Basically this movie was a botched attempt at adapting secret origin. they could just ignore the events of the first movie and have Hal couple years later in full green lantern swing. Have Sinestro vs hal the finale. Keep Ryan Reynolds. he was great. Then change the design of the suits and Oa. while not horrible, they were not very easy on the eyes. I was so disappointed with a movie with so much potential was twisted because of such a slow and TV like plot. bring on the sequel so we can see him in justice league.

1.) The Incredibles

Where is this sequel. I mean really cars 2. Really. The Incredibles is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Disney did an excellent job of crafting an interesting superhero universe that keeps you wanting to know more. I don't know what Disney's deal is with this franchise, but they have seem to have forgotten about it.

Now I know this article is about reboots and sequels, but im more interested in an Incredibles prequel. Yes it would be cool to see what kinda villain jack jack would've become or the superheroes come back to America, but I'm more interested in this era.

I think Mr.incredible in his younger years, would add to the original movie and set the stage for a sequel to that film later. We could see how Frozone and Mr.Incredible met, and the epic adventures they must have embarked on. We could see how Mr.Incredible got his powers, the possibilities are endless.

(I wana see what this day lead to)

1. Spawn was a sweet movie, and does need some love.

2. Darkman was good in it's day, but the bad sequels killed it.

3. Thomas jane was the perfect Frank Castle, but The Punisher is stuck on the outside looking in on the CBM world. If Dredd can't be a big money maker, there's no hope for Punisher. (imo)

4. Green Lantern was complete SHIT!! Reynolds should be DeadPool or the Flash.... or G.T.F.O!!!

5. The Incredibles is far too long over do for a sequel.!

Lol really everything was good in the GL movie except for the writing wow you must have been [frick]ing high. Reynolds was terrible so was the writing and boy don't get me started on Blake "can't act for shit" Lively as Carol was a total miscast they wanted to get a hot young chick instead of an actress. She looked like Reynolds niece not his child hood friend.

The only good thing was Mark Strong and even that was ruined at the end with DC dick move by giving him the yellow ring right away in the first movie. Which typically was lapped up by DC fan boys. Pathetic!

It needs a total reboot.

Rant over!
