Illumination's Minions is one of the most successful movies ever worldwide, and now those adorable, banana-obsessed silly buggers are getting another comic book series courtesy of Titan Comics.

Titled "Minions: Viva Le Boss," the new series will follow the yellow Minions on a journey through history in search of a truly villainous leader. Basically, it sounds like the comic series will expand upon the intro of the 2015 animated film, so expect some wild shenanigans.

Minions: Viva Le Boss is written by Stephane Lapuss and features art from Renaud Collin. The first issue is set to release this November. The new series will expand upon Titan Comics' catalog of Minions-inspired comics and graphic novels, which already includes Minions: Vol. 1: Banana and Minions: Vol. 2: Evil Panic.

The Minions franchise arose as a spinoff of the acclaimed Despicable Me animated film series. The little, yellow creatures were so popular within those movies that it inspired Universal and Illumination to give them their own standalone film, which released in 2015 and grossed over $1 billion at the box office. It's currently the 17th highest grossing movie all time at the worldwide box office. Given the series' success, it should come as no surprise that Universal and Illumination are currently working on Minions 2, which is due out in theaters worldwide in 2020.

The dialogue in this one would not be totally annoying to read at all... honestly!

Yay?

I found them amusing background characters in Despicable Me but they get increasingly obnoxious the more time they have to themselves. Minions the movie is boarderline unwatchable.
