CONSTANTINE Season 1, Episode 2 Title And Description Revealed

AN ANCIENT SPIRIT TORMENTS A PENNSYLVANIA MINING TOWN -- JAMES LEGROS GUEST STARS -- Deep in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania, John (Matt Ryan) is a small mining community’s only defense against an ancient Welsh spirit. In the course of protecting these isolated innocents, John finds a vital new ally in a mysterious young woman named Zed (Angélica Celaya). Harold Perrineau and Charles Halford also star.

The title of the episode is "The Darkness Beneath" and it will appropriately air on October 31st. Unlike the recently released descriptions for upcoming episodes of Arrow and The Flash, there aren't a lot of nods to the comic books here, but we do know that Papa Midnite and The Spectre are on the way early on in season one. What do you guys think about the description?

I'm pretty excited to see The Spectre and maybe Doctor Fate and a pre-Swamp Thing Alec Holland this season (Boston Brand/Deadman would also be cool and fit very well with the tone of the show) . I also wonder if they are going to keep the House of Secrets set now that Liv is gone. It looked really cool and I hope they find a way to keep using it.

I know the chances are slim, but I so would like to see the Shadowpact end up in this show. Seeing Nightmaster, Blue Devil, Detective Chimp, Nightshade, Ragman, Enchantress & Phantom Stranger would be cool.

I don't read any Constantine books, but this look a little like The Dresden Files. I liked that show so I'll give this a chance.

@GURILLAPUD The Dresden Files show while good was nothing compared to the books which are infinitely better.

@BlackIceJoe

I really think there may be a possibility somewhere down the line of Blue Devil appearing on Arrow or Flash (Depending on how long it lasts).

The Dresden Files show would have been painfully disappointing if I hadn't expected it to be typical Syfy dogshit, but the novels are amazing. Imagine if Peter Parker was John Constantine. Highly recommended. The comics, not so much.

I'd like to see DeadMan in the show, but I don't think there is much confidence in the Constantine show
