Hey all, well San Diego Comic-con 2010 has passed we got tons of sweet coverage and tons and tons of awesome news concerning all things comic, TV, and movies. The lucky ones that attended it from here got many great opportunities to witness the press events and see awesome footage we will never see until they release official press and media. So after looking and sifting through all the articles bother here and CBR, I compiled a top 10 list of what I think is the best news we got from the Convention. This is all personal opinion and from what I read from the articles, if I misinterpret please correct me, with that said lets begin with #10. Also this list covers the main three: Comics, TV, and Movies.

#10. The end of "Brand New Day"- It has finally come to light, we are finally seeing the beginning of what many of us hope to correct what many consider killed Spider-man and his credibility. The news came out saying that Peter Parker will get a job again, live up to being Peter Parker of the past, and setting the rights that have been wronged. The question is "HOW" and "WHAT" will this affect the larger Marvel Universe. Will the deal with the devil be undone thus reverting everything back to the moments of him revealing himself during Civil War, thus changing the continuity once again. There's no real hints at the moment from the images that were released. If however, they do undo the long continuity thats been established, Marvel would have to pull it off really really well.

#9. More images and footage of Young Justice- This is something I'm looking forward too. I been longing for a cool teen oriented superhero show. Ben10 sold out, Batman: Brave and the Bold is alright but kiddish, and Super Hero Squad is not my cup of tea. So having something like Young Justice, we still get to have a cool action based show and have it be more mature yet still fun to watch. From the look of it, the animation is like Crisis on 2 Earths but I doubt its same continuity.

#8. Sucker Punch Trailer- OH MY GOD was the trailer epic. Its like everything awesome you can think of...PUT ON FILM ALL AT ONCE!!!!....Whether good or bad its gonna be a sweet film to watch. It's all about the spectacle and it shows it off very well.

#7. Mark Ruffalo finally announced as Bruce Banner- This seems to be another huge divide amongst people here. There are people who are for and those against the idea. Whether or not you like the choice, he's a very talented actor and he has a Bixby look to him and he has Downey's Blessing. I'm over that whole Norton fiasco and I think we finally need to move on and be excited for the Avengers.

#6. The Infinity Gauntlet- This is causing a huge stir of unanswered questions. The main question is " WILL THANOS BE THE VILLAIN?!?!.....look I'm sure this is nothing more than fan teasing and more of a back prop in THOR. They seem to be basing the idea that the Infinity Gauntlet will be more grounded from the Asgardian race much like the cosmic cube. My guess for now is that Marvel Studios want to keep the Cosmic threat away for now and then eventually bring it in on a much greater level.

#5. The Rocketeer returning- THIS IS THE GREATEST NEWS EVER!!!!! The relaunch of the character will only be a 4 issue miniseries but nonetheless the return of a favorite hero I loved is making a comic comeback. I loved the movie and I can't wait to see all the cover arts and stories.

#4. The Walking Dead leaked trailer-..................Wow.......this looks really really amazing. I loved this trailer...it feels so much like the first volume. I only that one but I'm definitely gonna watch this show...AMC is taking such an awesome chance with this series. I love the look of the "walkers", Nicotero's work is really amazing and I'm sure this will be such a huge television phenomenon.

#3. The Captain America G4 interview- I know putting this up high might seem weird but I felt this interview was a pretty good one. While Johnston, Evans, and Weaving looked like hell they still were able to give us some cool insight of the film. We know the Red Skull mask will be prosthetic pieces from head to neck. I have much more faith now that the film is filming and we also seen a tiny glimpse of Evans as Cap.

#2. NO TWILIGHT PANEL!!!!!!!- simple one lets move on.
and the # 1 biggest news of SDCC 2010 is.....

#1. The Avengers roster revealed- yeah I'm sure you all saw this coming but I had to put this as # 1 because...well ITS THE AVENGERS!!!! We have a nice huge cast joining in this film. We got the two big rumors now finally revealed: those being Ruffalo is Banner and the other is Renner being Hawkeye(WIN!!!). Sadly there was no Hank or Janet but...look at this roster, its still pretty big and we should enjoy the film regardless of whose in the team or not. I'm sorta warming up with the idea of Whedon but I still have my doubts...he better step up or shut up.

And there's my list of the top 10 announcements and showings from the con. I hope to attend the 2011 event and see all the sweet stuff then, but for now we got a lot of great things. Til next time, Aki87 OUT!!!

@zell9...I looked and there was nothing really there on Green Lantern that showed it off more. A few posters, a tiny glimpse at Sinestro but nothing Major like any of the other Lanterns or the look of Oa. I could have done a top 5 for each thing but that would take longer time

Sucker Punch? Really? It was kind of cool visually but those visuals weren't backed up by any kind of drama or heart. Even in a short 3 minute preview you should be able to convey this, especially when the story concerns a young girl who is about to be lobotomized by an evil step father. And this is coming from a guy who met Zack Snyder on the show floor and found him to be a really down to earth fellow. I also LOVED Dawn of the Dead and 300. I hope Sucker Punch does and is received well, but I'm not really all that hopeful.

@plan99...he does seem very down to earth. I just put it up there because it was just awesome of a trailer. Like I said its all about the spectacle and the presentation, of the trailer. Save the plot and drama for later.lol

Even the shortest of trailers are able to exhibit a small amount of emotional gravitas in the time they are shown. The Thor footage did it. Even the small teaser for Captain America was able to do this. To add to this, the ladies in the panel themselves didn't really seem to be able to explain what the hell the movie is about. Perhaps its just Zack Snyder's inability to speak that has me wary of this film. He really is one of the WORST spoken people I have ever seen at the Con. I agree wholeheartedly with your number one however. That was absolutely frickin EPIC. To quote Joss Whedon, "I had a dream, and it wasn't as good as this." As far as Whedon and Snyder go, I think you and I are polar opposites. I have COMPLETE confidence that Whedon can pull off the job at hand. Snyder, we'll see.

@plan99...maybe Zack has ADD or ADHD, maybe he has a hard time forming complete though. Maybe the girls had to keep most of it quiet, you can't spoil everything in one place. Also, I have to "see" the thing to make it count on the lists I make...I can't just go by what you or any other people say about it.I think both THOR and Cap will be amazing films, I wish they showed the trailers online and not keep them from the public...it feels unfair to those not their.
